So what we know about this group is that they lie.The video does not appear to support this.
I don’t believe their claims of abusive conditions,

It is difficult to convince people when your only evidence is the testimony of two people who lied.It actually sounds like I’m never going to “win.”
The conditions in the Us detention centers are what they are. Maybe they are terrible, maybe not.It actually sounds like I’m never going to “win.”
Nice.I don’t know or care.
It is bad. I’ve posted links to prove it.If it was cold in the center, that is a bad thing. But I will not believe it was cold there based on the word of these people because they have already lied big-time, and in much the same way: to make those connected to border enforcement look bad.
The people who are the topic of this thread are known liars and for all I know are literate enough to have read these stories.
I started the thread and am well aware of the topic. As I’ve stated multiple time, the testimony of this couple BACKS what multiple governmental and non-governmental sources have confirmed about substandard and even horrible conditions. The conditions in the Us detention centers are what they are. Maybe they are terrible, maybe not.
However, basing your argument that they are terrible in the word of people who have already lied ain’t gonna work.
At least I have the experience of working with kids in detention, short term care.personal
The original article supposedly exposed 2 bad things about our border control: that they pick up innocent people and that they keep the temp too low.started the thread and am well aware of the topic
What is your implication here? That people do not believe that conditions are bad in the detention centers because of the “race” or economic level of the people detained. If nobody will listen to accounts from poor Latinos seeking asylum, will they believe an affluent white British family that accidentally crossed the border?
What exactly do they prove about this family? It is bad. I’ve posted links to prove it.
But can’t stick to the original topic…it no longer fits the agenda.I started the thread and am well aware of the topic.
Because. It’s. Corroborated. Be honest. Are you reading what I post?It turned out that the people in the article lied about the first part. So why should we believe the second statement?
Why is race in quotes? What else would you call it?What is your implication here? That people do not believe that conditions are bad in the detention centers because of the “race” or economic level of the people detained.
The original topic, from Post 1:But can’t stick to the original topic…it no longer fits the agenda.
Feel free to join us in discussing it.We’ve been hearing for over a year about the poor condition of ICE detention camps, but those claims often fall of deaf public ears.
Have you bothered to look at the thread title and attached article?Feel free to join us in discussing it.
A tornado blew through my neighborhood earlier this year.Because. It’s. Corroborated. Be honest. Are you reading what I post?
The attached article has been shown to be false in at least one significant area. And if there are already countless reports of inhumane conditions, as linked above, why would you believe ICE when it says otherwise?
I posted multiple reports.Based on your logic, anyone that talks about it has to be telling the truth since a news article talks about it too.
Yep. And I determined what I wanted to talk about in the OP. Feel free to start your own thread if you’d like a different topic.Have you bothered to look at the thread title and attached article?
Believe me, there were multiple reports of the tornado in my neighborhood.I posted multiple reports.
Right.Yep. And I determined what I wanted to talk about in the OP. Feel free to start your own thread if you’d like a different topic.
