Dear St. Raphael,

On this feast day of the Holy Archangels, please grant healing to mom4truth through your kind intercession.

Last night I made it to Perpetual Adoration and prayed for EVERYONE at CAF. So, all of you who pray for me, I pray for you and ask God Almighty to have mercy on each and every one of us. Thank you everyone, for your heart-felt prayers and thoughts.

HI !!! Even though I do not come on your post alot… KNOW that I am always praying for you.

Sure it is not usually our way…but what do we know???LOL
I have found that when you are in cocentrated dialog with Jesus…one can forget one’s pains,sorrows,etc.,even if such for a moment.

Early tomorrow AM (Wed.) I get my surgery. It may be considered “minor” to the surgeon, but not to me. I will be sore and yucky for a few days. I only hope that this helps alleviate some of my pain (they don’t know for sure). Next step: possibly removal of the pouch, then/or experimental medications. They said I’m the worst person they’ve seen with my condition :eek: ! I wasn’t too happy about that.

Thank you all for praying for me. I know I’m a pain in the rear, but please bear with me! My prayers out to all of you!

I found this little prayer on the net today. It’s a prayer for those about to go into surgery. I just thought it was a beautiful prayer.

Loving Father, I entrust myself to Your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with You and with those around me. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Into Your Hands, I commend my body and my soul. Amen.

I am still praying for your health.

Dear Judi,

I will be praying for you and your doctors. With medical stuff, sometimes it seems like it has to get worse (implementing the cure) before it can get better. This surgery and the follow-up could be the treatment that finally helps you turn the corner and get better. At minimum I hope it will alleviate your suffering.

I agree–there is no such thing as a minor surgery and I be praying for your fast recovery. Don`t be afraid to speak up loud and clear for your needs (like if you need more pain meds).

You and your family are in my prayers and I will pray especially for you tomorrow.

It sounds like you’re going through a terrible time, Judi. 😦 I’ll be praying for your health and for your family. The Lord must have a great reward in mind for you for having to endure so much!

Thank you all for your prayers. They are really needed as I feel as if a truck ran over me. Probably from the general anesthesia I had. Yuck. I don’t think I will make it to Thanksgiving dinner today. But to all of you: HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I give thanks to each and every one of you. You are all in my prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers! Thanksgiving has come and gone - again. But I give thanks to all of you! Missed the big turkey - but that’s o.k. Right now, I’m in a lot of discomfort and have some pretty yucky bleeding. Waiting to see if it subsides soon. Husband and kids are going to meet in-laws for the day. So, once again, I’ll be home alone with my dog (Franklin/Frank). He’s a little gem, that one.

As always, you are all in my prayers. I need to get back to my rosary since I haven’t said it in a couple of days. You will all be included in it.
