Have gone through emotional and physical suffering myself, I feel your pain and anguish. I also feel your faith. I pray that it keeps growing everyday. St. Dymphna is the patron saint for those who have emotional disorders and who are distraught. I have been brought much comfort praying through her.

At times, I have not even been able to get the words of what I need, but in Romans 8:26, I can take heart because I am reminded that “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.” My signature, Ezekiel 36:26 reminds me of what the Lord is doing in the first place with my suffering. It is only through that can I feel compassion for others and be moved to try to asuage that.

I will pray especially hard for you on the 15th.

God Bless you!

Ericka

Thank you all for your prayers. I am not despairing, just afraid. You are all in my prayers; please keep me in yours.

Affectionately,
Judi

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

mom, I’m sorry that I didn’t pay more attention for this thread before. But you are always in my prayer as I follow the other thread.
Continue praying for you

Baptista, wina, phoenix:

Thank you all for your prayers. Today was not such a bad day. I got some pain medication and it’s taking the edge off. Prayers to all of you!

Much love,
Judi

First I want to tell you how sorry I am that I haven’t posted a prayer for you in quite a while. Although my writing is not here…you are in my heart and always will be…I keep you in my prayers always and hope that the healing spirit will touch you significantly and be with you always.

PLEASE do not feel badly. Everyone has a life. I appreciate anything…really. You are in my prayers and any special intentions you hold in your heart are in my prayers.

Love,

Judi, still praying for you. Praying for the Holy Spirit to comfort you when fearful.

Thank you, rocket. You are a generous soul. I am praying for YOUR intentions right now!

From the Liturgy of the Hours for Friday, Dec. 12:

Mid-morning reading (Terce) Jeremiah 29:11,13 ©
I know the plans I have in mind for you – it is the Lord who speaks – plans for peace, not disaster, reserving a future full of hope for you. When you seek me you shall find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Noon reading (Sext) Jeremiah 30:18 ©
The Lord says this: Now I will restore the tents of Jacob, and take pity on his dwellings.

Today is the Feast of the Holy Family. May Jesus, Mary, and Joseph bless you.

Prayers and Intercessions

The son of the living God let himself become the son of a human family. Let us pray to him:
  • Lord, you are our example and our saviour.
Christ, you made yourself subject to Mary and Joseph:
teach us to respect and obey whoever holds rightful authority.
You loved your parents and they loved you:
may every family stand firm and peaceful in mutual love.
In all things you honoured your Father’s will:
may God be honoured in every home.
Christ, after two days your parents found you in your Father’s temple:
teach us to seek the kingdom of God before all else.
Christ, you have united Mary and Joseph in your glory in heaven:
welcome our dead into the family of the blessed.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

God, you chose to give us the Holy Family as an example to be followed:
grant that we may follow that example,
binding ourselves in virtue and mutual love,
so that we may come to your house at the last
and receive our eternal reward.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

O My Jesus… I ask you to help your beloved daughter Mom4truth. To be near her, to take her hand and guide her to pass this hard situation.
Our lady, Mother of God, pray with us to your son for comfort that Mom4truth need it.

You are a very strong woman. I will offer my own daily cross for you and yours. God bless you with His love and strength and above all peace.

Judi…praying for you as always and I lit a candle for you at Mass yesterday. These past few days have been really hard for me but I want you to know that my every prayer includes you. You dear, dear sister of mine…I love you. Diane
