Thank you ALL for your prayers. I have many generous friends and interecessory pray-ers. I am feeling lost in this world. I feel as though nothing will change in my family, health, etc. I’m wondering if it is the work of the evil one. I use many sacramentals and wear them, also. I do not see many results. I’m beginning to feel as though God is far, far away. Yet, I know in my heart He isn’t. But that doesn’t help. I have little desire to carry out the day’s duties. St. Jude, pray for me.

My dear dear friend. I know what you feel as you know I have a similar situation. It is hard to continue in faith when so many terrible things happen in your life. But Faith is Believing without Seeing. I think that’s what gets me through this. I am keeping a daily journal …reflections, happenings, etc. Maybe this will help. When you have a bad day…look back at the glorious graces that have been given you in the past. It’s hard…i know…but you have the strength of a powerful child of God and I know God has not abandoned you…He is just handing you a little more than you want right now…things will get better. I keep saying that over nad over again…Keep strong, dear friend…you know I pray for you daily and you are never far from my thoughts. I love you so much and am asking St. Jude to send to you the miracle you so desperately need…Stay strong…Diane

Dear Mom4truth, I know what you are feeling in these bad days, but I know too that our Lord will never abondonned you. So let’s continue together to pray for Him.
Warmly Tarek.

Tarek, rocket, onwillowbay:

Thank you all for your prayers. I so much want to be well; pain free. I have another surgery (intestinal) that is optional - it may or may not help with the symptoms. I’m waiting for the medical field to come up with other options, or I’m waiting for God to tell me what to do. Thank you again. You are all in my prayers.

Blessings,
Judi

Dear Mom4Truth,

I went to Mass after work tonight and prayed for you and your intentions. I also lit a candle for you and said a prayer to St. Jude. I will keep on praying.

Sincerely,

Maria1212

Maria,

You are always so thoughtful! Thank you. I included you in my rosary last night and will do so again shortly. How are you doing? Please PM me if you have time and are up to it.

Blessings,
Judi

From the Liturgy of the Hours for Friday, January 9:

Prayers and Intercessions

Let us proclaim the praises of the Word of God, who came to throw all our sins into the sea and drown them. Therefore let us pray to him with confidence:
  • Lord, show us your loving kindness.
Eternal High Priest, you came into this world and instituted a perfect worship:
through your Church, make all men share in it.
Healer of soul and body, you came to cure us all of our sickness:
give health and strength to those who are ill.
Your birth is a cause for everyone to rejoice:
bring happiness to those afflicted by sorrow and sin.
Mighty King, you broke the fetters of our ancient slavery:
remember those in prison and loosen their bonds.
By your coming you became a wide-open gate into heaven:
through that gate, let the dead enter.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

O God, you give light to all nations: give your people the joy of everlasting peace.
You illuminated the minds of our forefathers with your light:
may our hearts be filled with it also.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

May God strengthen you and may you find rest in the peace and love of Jesus.

theresa,

Thank you for praying for me. I find no rest. My spirit does not rest nor what to do. At moments it is as peace with Christ. Most of the time it is so restless. Pain overwhelms my mind, probably my spirit as well. I’m feeling very down. I do not have a support system since my parents left for their winter home two days ago. I feel very alone. Thank you everyone.

Blessings,
Judi

I just finish my prayer to Mother Theresa for you mom4 truth. That I have read that Mother theresa felt, for a long time, what you are feeling now: “God is away, and not in my heart”.
Warmly Tarek

Judi. God is with you. He holds you dear to His heart and gives you unending love just for you. I am keeping you in prayer and praying that God will lighten your burden and send his Holy Spirit upon you so that you may once again feel the love He has for you. Stay strong, dear friend. I love you always. Diane
