Judi, praying very hard for you and your family and the family of the girl who committed suicide.
 
Thank you EVERYONE for your prayers. I’ve decided I’m going to go for the next surgery - it’s no guarantee -but I have so much pain that I do not know what else to do. I will be talking to my GI dr. soon and then the surgeon. It’s a big operation - long recuperation time, a lot of pain. What the heck! What’s a little more pain…

Thank you all for praying for me. As usual, you are all in my prayers. My son is still very sad. The young girl’s funeral is on Friday. The school is attending and they have canceled final exams for the week and given them the day off Friday for mourning and attend this young girl’s funeral. This is so sad.

Judi, as always, you continue in our prayers. Like you said, what’s a little more pain (a little more to offer up) - especially if there just may be an end to it. I am praying for the soul of the young girl as well.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I’m really afraid to get this done, though. It will be “another” life altering experience for me. Thank you for praying for this young girl, too. My son is crying quite often - poor thing. He gets mad at me if I ask anything about the girl. I’m keeping my mouth shut now as he goes through this. He’ll talk when he’s ready.

Mom… I am praying for you like you are praying for my daddy. I just hope your miracle comes through today, if it doesnt, Thank God because you are one day closer for it to happen. Amen.

Thank you, dear Tarek. I did not make it to Mass today. Horrible migraine, blah, blah, blah. I am so tired of these medications. They only take the “edge” off and that’s when I take quite a bit. I did make it to a funeral Mass on Friday for the classmate of my son. So, I thank God for that!

Please, pray that I make the right decision about this next big intestinal surgery. My kids are afraid I will die.

Dear Mom4Truth,

I will keep you in my prayers today. I think you are courageous to have the next surgery. Sometimes the “cure” can seem worse than the illness, but in the long run, it sounds like the right decision. I know you have been thinking about it and praying about it a lot and it was very wise of you not to rush. You are one brave woman Mom4Truth and you continue to inspire all of us.

I will keep you husband, son, and daughter in my prayers too.

Praying for you regarding this intestinal surgery. Will it be keyhole or major?
I’ll pray for your boy that he can come to handle whatever is causing him specifically to grieve so much. Maybe your son thinks he should have been able to do something. And maybe he really liked the girl.

When my son’s best friend committed suicide he didn’t want to talk about it either. There was a cyclone (tornado) at the time of the funeral. We had to cross a river that was flooded and officially closed, but we drove over it anyway as he was a pallbearer and it was unthinkable that he not be at the funeral. It was a foolish thing to cross the river but we had to try. My son has never actually talked about it. He’d come back to town as soon as he knew of his friend’s suicide. He felt if he hadn’t left town his friend might have been still alive. My son has always been lots of fun. He has a great sense of humour and a dancing spirit within. His friend missed him. He lived outside town on his parents’ sugar-cane farm.

Thank you so much for all your prayers. Trishie: the intestinal surgery is a major one. Very painful, long recovery time. It’s very scary to me since I’ve been through this before, only now they’re telling me there would be more complications due to scar tissue and whatnot.

po: I do know a lot of people are praying for me. I’m aware that prayers go up and I am ever so thankful for all the people at CAF who do pray for me. I cannot express how grateful I am. The prayers are what sustain me.
