I am so sorry I’m back HERE again! What IS my problem???
I now have the flu: body aches, stuffy nose, congestion, yada yada yada…Please pray this goes away fast, because I still have the intestinal bit going on and just started the new probiotic. I am really hoping this works, because if it doesn’t…well…you get the picture, and it isn’t pretty. I do thank all of you for praying for me. Also (sigh!) my husband is still lost and cannot find his way. He needs prayers BAD!! Remember, I ALWAYS keep everyone in CAF in my rosaries and daily prayer. In fact, if anyone has a special intention, please PM and I will offer it up to the Lord through my sufferings. God bless you all and what a Godsend everyone is! Much love,
Thank you, Prayerjohn. I feel like ***doo doo ***today. My limbs are having trouble moving and I have to pick up my son from school. God bless you for praying for me! I’m praying for you, too.🙂
**Glad to see the antibiotics haven’t shut down your sense of humour with your immune system! 😉 :rotfl: **
Praying for your speedy recovery mom! :gopray:
Hi! If anyone is here at this late hour, would you mind praying for me that I make it to Mass tomorrow? This flu has really gotten to me and now I have a migraine on top of it…
Dearest mom, I pray for you now, that you will be well enough to go to Mass this morning, and will also say a prayer for you in church. God bless you my dear friend!

Dear Mom4Truth,

You are in my thoughts and prayers today and every day. I prayed for you especially at Mass today. I know your burden is heavy. Speaking as one medical anomaly to another, I know it can be so difficult some days. But Jesus is carrying you even when you do not feel his presence.

Please do not give up hope. Just because this doctor did not have an answer, does not mean there is not a solution out there. Or at least a treatment to make things more bearable. Please do not give up home.

You are such an inspiration and joy to all of us here at CAF! We are so lucky to have you. And we are so blessed to have you praying for us.

I know I don`t post every day, but you are always in my thoughts and prayers. You are an inspiration and I hope I can one day be as good as an example of our Catholic faith as you are to me and so many others.

Hugs,

Maria1212

Hope you made it to mass today. I prayed for you and your family at mass this morning. Hope you are feeling better!

Still praying for you and your intentions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS!! I did make it to Mass this morning. It had to have been your prayers because I was still very achy from the flu. But, I made it!:bounce: This was such a blessing! Thanks be to God. Thank you all, too. I remembered everyone at CAF in Mass this morning! God bless everyone!🙂

I hear you, Mom!

Lord, help us live our days quietly, easily
To lean on Thy great strength trustfully, restfully
To await the unfolding of Thy will patiently, serenely
To meet others peacefully, joyously
To face today and tomorrow confidently, courageously

It’s already Sunday morning in the UK and shall carry you in thoughts and prayers at Mass today. Rest well and God bless.
Now, THIS is a beautiful and inspiring prayer! If only we take it to heart and repeat it daily.

Christ’s peace be always with you.

Dear Mom4Truth,

I am continuing to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are doing okay and that you are feeling better. Please do not give up hope. God is helping you carry this heavy cross even when you don`t feel him, he is right next to you.

Sincerely,

Maria1212

Lord of love and kindness, graciously send Your Holy Spirit upon Mom4Truth, illumining her heart to the pure love that is the very motive of suffering. In our Risen Lord Jesus, we see that he did not spare Himself even one lash of the whip, so great was His love of us. Grant her the gift of Understanding, that she will revel in her affliction, knowing that You are pleased with her fortitude and are zealously guarding her room in Your Eternal Home. When she is crushed to the earth with infirmity, reveal to her that she will rise with the Angels to highest Heaven, in eternal joy. Graciously open her heart to the tiniest glimpse of Your Eternal Plan, so that she will thank and praise You for having found her worthy of testing. As she struggles, may she recall the lives of the suffering Saints, who praised you precisely because they were stricken. Lord, how much better that we suffer pain and sorrow on earth, for Your Kingdom is worth several lifetimes of suffering! Hear us, Lord! as we continue to knock on the gates of Heaven with our prayers for our blessed sister in Christ. Amen! Alleluia!

po18:

I am deeply moved by your prayer for me. I thank you so much! I am beginning to accept the physical/emotional sufferings better than I ever have before. I am offering them to whomever the Lord wishes these sufferings to go to. My health continues to be difficult. My intestinal problem has gotten worse, I have had a severe migraine for 3 days now, and my heart has been doing its flip-flopping (literally). But, I am thanking God that He is using these trials for the greater good. I will lay down my life for Him,
so great is my love for Him. I ask my Lord to help me carry this cross and to do it with a smile (this could be the tricky part   ). Thank you all for praying for me. You are all in my prayers - TRULY!🙂

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

Christ rose from the dead, the first-fruits of all who slept. Let us rejoice and give him praise, saying:
  • You rose from the dead: hear our prayer.
Remember, Christ, your holy Church. You founded it on the Apostles and spread it throughout the world:
give your blessing to all who believe in you.
Healer of our souls and our bodies,
come to our aid and bring us to safety.
Help the sick and give them strength:
free them from their weakness.
Help those who are weighed down with pain and oppression;
in your mercy, sustain the the poor.
Through your cross and resurrection, you opened up for all the road to eternal life:
grant that our brethren who have died may share in the joy of your kingdom.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Rocket:

Thank you for your prayers. Remember - I am praying for you too. How are you doing? God bless.

Dear Mom. I hven’t been online for a while( lost service for a while ) but I continue to pray for you and all on CAF. Cronic pain can take every bit of strength right out of you. No one knows until they have been there. I had a dear freind who was in constant pain and I saw it’s affect on her. I will pray to St Jude to intercede for you. I hope you see the healng light soon.
Love, Murry

Dear John and Murry,
I thank you both so much for remembering me in your prayers. They are still very much needed - I hate to say. I am trying the last resort for my intestinal infection (a probiotic) and my symptoms seem to be only getting worse (yuck!). I am feeling very tired… Please, keep praying for me, even though I know the reality is I may not recover from this and may need an unwanted surgery. But - I am prepared (or at least I tell myself this). I am keeping you and all here at CAF in my daily prayers and rosaries. God bless each and everyone of you, and I thank God for all of you - my special friends! Much love,

Hi everyone:

I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate your prayers. I have been making it to Mass (:extrahappy:) due to your prayers, I’m sure. Anyway, my migraines (daily) have returned with a vengeance. My medication no longer works for them. My intestinal problem is getting worse (bleeding, now) and I am waiting for an opening from my motility specialist. Also (must I got on???)my heart arrythmia has gotten worse. SO - please keep praying that I persevere through all this. I thank you all SO, SO much. I know it’s a lot to ask and I hate to be annoying or sound whiny! YUCK! But, I do think that all of you sustain me. So, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please remember, that I present all of you to Jesus when I attend Mass. God bless you all! Much love,

You are in my prayers Mom4Truth. Please don`t give up hope. And please never apologize for asking for prayers. Praying for others is often the most productive, and enjoyable part of my day. It is a gift we can give others. So please never feel bad about asking for prayers.

Many of us suffer from chronic illnesses/diseases/disabilities–whether it be asthma–or something else. Some are more debilitating than others but many share this difficult cross. And we need to pray for each other.

As always PM me anytime! I finally cleared out my inbox so messages won`t bounce back now.

Love,

Maria1212
