Mom4truth I am so sorry your husband refuses to attend the communion . I am sorry he neglects you . I am sorry he does not appreciate you . I am sorry that he is lost . Judi your children and you need to pray for him . He is blinded by the enemy and does not see the love that is in your heart and in his children . The Lord will change him I know it. Just keep in prayer . I pray and do want you and your daughter and children and your husband to be a happy family . Do not feel like you are losing the battle . The enemy wants you to think like that . You must keep in prayer and know that our LORD loves you and is fixing it all . Please Lord I come to you in prayer that this day April 27th will be a blessing to mom4truth and her family in every way . Lord let it be so ! thanks for that Lord, in the name of Jesus, amen . . I pray for you mom4truth and your family , hug , your brother in Christ- , John

I read this and I wanted you to read it as I felt led to reiterate this statement to you . So I reiterate this to you . There is a song that says something to the effect of, “A little rain helps me appreciate the sunshine…” That’s the way life is sometimes. It’s like, without sadness, we can’t appreciate and understand what it means to be happy. Without valleys, we can’t experience the joy of reaching the top of the mountain. All of these experiences shape us and help us to grow in the spirit and in character and help us to better appreciate the goodness of the Lord. Be grateful for all of His many blessings and how He brings us (those who believe in Him) out of every problem, every area of darkness, every trial. If we just trust Him and believe, the sun WILL come out in the morning. I am happy as I read this as it is exactly how I feel , because this is true . I agree with this statement . Mom 4truth I hope this long statement helps you . thanks , John

Lord of Mercy, strengthen mom4truth against the attacks of the evil one. Bear her up daily on the wings of faith, catching her eye with the promise of eternity in Your presence. Speak to her the words of forgiveness as the father forgave the prodigal son. And, in like manner, may her wandering husband, who vowed faithfulness before You, come to his senses out of his spiritual poverty, desiring the fruits of the Spirit that only a return to faith can bring. May he turn from his sin and beg forgiveness upon his humble return, admitting his sin against all whom he loves, and against You, his Creator God. Lord, we know that You will run to meet him on that day, and that there will be celebration in Heaven. May he seek reconciliation with all whom he has offended, and in Christ-like manner, may he find, not a just condemnation, but saving forgiveness. We ask this through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
:amen:

Mom4Truth, I have said many prayers for you and will continue! :hug3:

Galilea, Po, John,
Thank you all for your prayers! You all are such dear, trustworthy friends I can always find strength in! My dh showed up at Mass (:eek). He didn’t talk to to me, but the kids sat with him. He then went directly to work after Mass. I think the kids got to him because they were telling him how rude it was not to attend my nephew’s Communion. My husband could’ve taken off work, but he “chose” not to. BUT - at least his conscience got the better of him and he made it to Mass! Praise God! Maybe there is a glimmer of hope?! I’m trusting in the Lord and putting it in His hands. I cannot do anything other than pray. The kids and I went to the Communion party after and we had fun, although I had a horrible migraine that’s been going on for about 6/7 days now. It was so nice to be with family. Thank you everyone for praying for me. I really depend on your prayers and need them. I prayed for all of you at Mass yesterday. Something good will happen to all of us! P.S. Happy Birthday, John!! Much love to all,

There is LOTS of POWER in Prayer.

Heavenly Father, you know what Mom feels in her heart and soul, please place your loving hands on her and let her see the love and mercy you have for her. Let the Holy Spirit light your way. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.

God you are GREAT!

I pray for you. I have heavy burdens too and leftmass this morning to cryand talk to one of our priests. I felt I couldn’t be strong any more. Father told me that we never know how long we have this earthly life whether it be a day, an hour, 60 yrs, or 100 yrs. BUT we always have God right beside us. He will not leave us and deliver us through all this pain and suffering that we share. God bless you and I will keep you in my prayers. We must believe that God will not let us down…our continued belief and faith will lead us fromthis world to world we cannot even imagine. a world free of pain…we suffer as Christ did and we cry out to God as Mary did when Her son suffered so. His suffering was for us…Keep your chin up and keep your faith. God is holding you near to His heart.

I’ve done the same as you - left Mass (crying). I’m sorry you are having such a difficult time, too. I’m praying for you, a lot! Thank you for sharing your story with me. It gives me hope again.

Thank you for praying for me. I’m sure a lot of people are sick and tired of seeing these posts regarding my situation. I’m getting sick of it myself. But thanks to people like you, I am persevering through my trials. May God bless you for your faithfulness as a devout prayer warrior. You are truly needed by me and many others! Thank you so much. I am praying for your needs as well, always! Much love,

Mom, we men are simple creatures, like anvils, and slow to change. Take his baby step for the miracle (that which is seen) that it was. The best advice I ever heard was to not worry about tomorrow, because today has enough trouble of its own. A really famous guy that I love said that.

Christ’s peace.

Ha ha! I WONDER Who said that???😃 Yes, I do think it was miracle - sort of. The kids “guilted” him into it. They questioned him why he wasn’t going and told him he was being very rude to his nephew. That’s why he went. But, I suppose it is what it is. I’m not worrying. I’ve worried long enough - that’s what’s gotten me so tired. It’s up to God to “fix” this. Thank you for the prayers. You’re always in mine!🙂

The Lord uses post-confession guilt to empower us to avoid future sin. A sense of guilt implies a conscience. Now that his conscience has budged, time to exercise it a little. Prayers continue.

Christ’s peace.
