I think you may very possibly be right about that (though I do wish you didn’t have to suffer). Perhaps were are helping each other??? I KNOW you help me tremendously and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are ALWAYS in my prayers and rosaries.

You are a dear friend! Thank you so much for thinking of me and praying for me. Today I go to the dr. for my biopsy results/follow-up visit. I know that your prayers are helping me get through each day in a more “graceful” manner. Thank you for your prayers and please know that I pray for you also. I remembered EVERYONE at CAF during Mass yesterday!

God bless everyone and THANK YOU!

Much love,

Dear Mom4Truth,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything went okay with your biopsy results and that you are healed from your biopsy procedure.

God bless you mom4truth , your brother in Christ, John

Thank you Maria & John for your prayers. My prayers are with you also! God bless.

Mom. I remember you in prayer each night as well as others here at the CF. Yesterday I prayed for a solid hour asking God to give me all the pains of sufferings of you, Pam,John, Mom and everyone else here at CF to just give Joe the miracle of healing. I asked God to take me as a sacrifice for all you lovely people. Just to take away the pains and sufferings we all have. Wrap them all into my body and cleanse me for entry into the kingdom. I hope that your biopsy results went well…Please keep us posted.
Diane

onwillowbay,

I thank you so much for thinking of me and praying for me so faithfully. You are so kind. I am doing the same for you. You are such a dear soul. Once again, I am quite sick with a severe intestinal infection. I’m having a lot of pain right now and cannot eat. Please pray that Our Good Lord will help me through this and that I will continue to “put a smile on my face” through it all. Thank you for praying for me. You do not know how much it means to me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dear Mom4Truth,

I am so sorry to hear you are suffering so much. You are in my prayers tonight. You are so strong and you bear this heavy cross so well. Your courage is an inspiration to all of us. You are also so selfless. Despite all of your pain and troubles, you still take the time to remember us in prayer each day. I know God hears your prayers.

Sincerely,

Maria1212

Mom4Truth,

Jesus, come to the aid of our sister and let each of us help her through our prayers to help her carry her cross. I ask that her sufferings would be considered in conjunction with your own for the redemption of this world and not in vain. Please help her to know you are with her in her trials.

Our Lady Of Perpetual Help, I ask that you would intercede for the needs of our sister that she may manage through each day with the same grace you had in life.

Amen.

You are so kind to pray for me. Your words mean a lot to me and lift my spirits. I was in bed all day today, but when I read your post, it made me feel better. Your signature, especially, touched my heart. I’m going to remember that, and try to live it! You will be in my prayers, and I will remember you at Mass this weekend! God bless you abundantly.

Much love,

Oh my that would be awesome!!! Praying for another little one myself!! Plus poor holy souls in purgatory!!!

Continued prayers for you, mom4truth!

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

Let us raise our eyes to Christ. For his people he was born; he died; he rose from the dead. So let us put our trust in him and pray:
  • Lord, give salvation to those you redeemed with your blood.
Blessed are you, Jesus, saviour of mankind. You did not hesitate to suffer and die for us:
by your precious blood we are redeemed.
You promised to give water welling up into eternal life:
pour out your Spirit over all mankind.
You sent your disciples to preach the Good News to the nations:
help them to extend the victory of your Cross.
The sick and poor share your cross:
give them the gifts of strength and patience.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Almighty Father, let your light soak deeply into our minds.
Stepping forward in the light of your commandments,
may we follow you always, our leader and our guide.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

When you post Liturgy of the Hours, it always seems to coincide with what I am going through emotionally/physically/spiritually that day. That is NOT coincidence, is it? I am lucky to have you here! God bless you, my friend!

Mom. I hope you felt better today. I was at chemo with Joe for 4 hrs and it was emotionally draining to see him go through it. Another man taking chemo…took it and then went to the restroom…there was a lot of blood and they admitted him into the hospital…I’m keeping him and you in my prayers. May god grant you goodness in y our life. You deserve it and your plate is so heavy…Keepus posted always…We all love you here at CAF.

Diane,
Please do not worry about me. You are going through SO MUCH with your husband. I am praying very hard for him - daily. I will offer my struggles for him each day. I will remember him at Mass tomorrow. How are his spirits? You have to be strong for him right now. When people are ill (seriously ill like your dh) they need someone they can depend on for emotional support. You do, too. I am also praying for you. God bless you, Diana. Please keep us posted in your thread for Joe.

Many prayers and much love,

If anyone has a spare moment (like any of us do!), could you please say a quick prayer for me? I only have a small intestine and I fear that it is infected and I will have to go back to having an ileostomy (bag). I have a lot of pain in my abdomen and back. Thank you, anyone, who can say a quick prayer. I’m praying for all at CAF. God bless,

Part of a psalm from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 85 (86)

A poor man’s prayer in time of trouble

Lord God, you are full of mercies, patient and true.
Turn your ear to me, Lord, and hear me,
for I am poor and destitute.
Keep my life safe, for I am faithful;
O God, save your servant, who trusts in you.

Take pity upon me, O Lord,
for I call to you all the day long.
Make your servant’s heart glad,
for to you, O Lord, I have raised it.
For you, Lord, are gentle and mild:
you are kind to all those who call on you.

Let your ears hear my prayer, O Lord!
Turn to the voice of my pleading!
In my time of trouble I call on you,
for you, O Lord, will hear me.

No other god is like you, O Lord,
and nothing compares with your works.
All people – all nations you made –
will come and worship before you;
they will give glory to your name.
For you are great, you work wonders:
you alone are God.

Mom4truth, trust in God and have faith that He will keep you in good hands. He is closest to those who feel weary, broken, lost, and alone; the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is coming up soon, so I will pray that Jesus will keep you within the safety of His Glorious Sacred Heart.

Lord Jesus, cover mom4truth with Your love. Enfold her within Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let her escape. Wash her in the blood that You shed upon the cross; cleanse her of all evil, illness, and sin that afflicts her. Refresh her, renew her strength, and give her the courage to carry on in faith.

Blessed Virgin Mary, join your Immaculate Heart to the Sacred Heart of your Son and intercede for your daughter, mom4truth. Under the titles of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Our Lady Help of Christians, keep mom4truth in your maternal care.

mom4truth, I will keep you in my prayers as I have been. I read your posts each day and want you to know I care and am still asking God to help you. You have been through so much and yet you remain so pleasant and kind. You pray for all of us and your words are very comforting. Bless you and I will keep you in my prayers always. I just want you to know I am still here for you.
sincerely, Sprouts
