Thank you (once again) for all your prayers! I am somewhat concerned because I’ve been having significant bleeding due to my surgery. The surgeon said it’s probably normal and only to come to ER if I become dizzy, light-headed, etc.??? It’s a little scary - A LOT of blood. Anyway, please keep me in prayer. You are all in my prayers as well.

Blessings to all!
Judi

Praying for you, that God will comfort you and keep you safe.

God bless you

Dear Judi,

Prayed for you yesterday at the Sunday Vigil Mass, and will remember to pray for you tonight in the Adoration Chapel.

A Bible verse from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Afternoon reading (None)

(2 Thessalonians 1:6-10) ©

God will very rightly reward you, who are suffering now, with the same peace as he will give us, when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven with the angels of his power, when he comes to be glorified among his saints and seen in his glory by all who believe in him.

Your friend,

~~ the phoenix

Dear dear Judi,
I have been praying hard for you. I am sooo glad you are on the way to healing. I understand what the doctor is saying about your bleding. However, even if he is right, you might consider making a doctors appointment, just to settle your mind…or ER. It IS scarry to be bleeding alot. Sometime doctors are so use to things like that they do not realize how you feel about it.
Follow your heart on this. I know you will do what is best for you.
I just want to mention that,You are such a wonderful person.
I love your big heart and concern for others.
You are so precious.
Heidi

I will always include you in my prayers.:gopray2:

Judi, I just found this thread. Dear one, know that my thoughts, care, and prayers are with you. May He encourage You with His presence and help this heal up. Know that we love you and are praying for you. God loves you dearly (Psalm 91). You have set your love upon God…

I could go on, but know I would mainly comfort you, assure you of my prayers and thoughts… dear one. You have been so faithful.

With Christ’s love,
Pilgrim Elaine

Oh, I cannot thank you all enough for your prayers. They are what sustains me in this wretched body while on earth. This a.m. I am feeling quite lousy. My doctors are so “reluctant” to give pain medication, and it’s really starting to upset me. How long must endure pain when there is pain med out there? I don’t undersand it. I have a CT-scan on the 15th which I am trying to move up. They’re trying to rule out any other other organs that may be causing problems. I’m just so tired … Please keep praying for me, if I may ask. You are all in my prayers, alway.

Blessings,
Judi

Dear Judi,

I am so sorry things are continuing to be so tough. You are in my constant thoughts and prayers. I wish you werent having to endure so much suffering. Seeing you still take the time to pray for everyone when you have such a struggle going on is such an example to me. Knowing you are suffering, and still being such a prayer warrior, is helping me feel less alone in my own suffering. I dont know how to explain it. I wish you weren`t having to go through all of this and wish I could do something to help. But you are in my prayers.

Definitely be loud and persistent in communication with your doctor if you are having a lot of pain. There is no reason this should not be treated, or resolved. I know sometimes they are reluctant to give pain medication because they don`t want to mask a new problem, or create new ones. But you should not suffer needlessly and they should take more immediate steps to help you. Please do not give up or think that you are whining. You are handling this so bravely. Even if no one around you acts like you are, or thinks you are, you are.

I will post some more online prayers tonight.

Hugs,

Maria

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

God the almighty Father willed that all generations should celebrate Mary, the mother of his son. Let us praise him with great praise and humbly bring him our petitions:
  • Remember Mary, full of grace, and hear our prayers.
God, worker of miracles, you lifted up the immaculate Virgin Mary, body and soul, to share the glory of Christ in heaven:
guide the hearts of your children to that same glory.
You gave us Mary to be our mother. Through her intercession give healing to those worn out by sickness, consolation to those who mourn and pardon to those who have done wrong;
and to all of us give salvation and peace.
You made Mary the mother of mercy and compassion:
may those beset by danger experience her motherly love.
God, you chose Mary to be the mother of your family, in the house of Jesus and Joseph:
let every mother make her own family a place where love and holiness grow.
Lord God, you crowned Mary as the queen of heaven:
may the dead rejoice in the ranks of your saints for ever.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

God, by her Immaculate Conception you made the Virgin a fit habitation for your Son.
You preserved her from the stain of the Fall by the merits of your Son’s future death:
through her intercession, make us pure and permit us to come to you at last.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

Praying very hard for your suffering to go away and for you to feel great again!

Thank you all who have prayed for me since my last post. It appears there are no openings until the 15th. I have developed a strange pain in my left side (upper) and now one in my lower right. Weird, huh? I’m wondering if it’s from tensing up due to the pain. I called my GI doctor for pain medication last Friday, but not answer. I called again this a.m., and his nurse called back for the details. So - we’ll see what happens - probably nothing. I’m just fed up. I actually think I am getting worse. I can’t even get in the shower. You are all in my prayers

Blessings to everyone!

Praying very hard for you mom. and ask you tocontinue praying.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

From tonight’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Keep us safe, Lord, while we are awake, and guard us as we sleep, so that awake we can keep watch with Christ and asleep rest in His peace.

Prayer
Let us pray.

Of your kindness, Lord, dispel the darkness of this night, so that we your servants may go to sleep in peace and wake to the light of the new day, rejoicing in your name.
Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

I know how you feel. I’m praying for you right now.

God Bless,

Hilary

I’m afraid of being in a lot of pain and dying; leaving my kids behind who need me. Please pray for me.

Praying very hard for you and for your family during this very difficult time in your life. Please don’t despair, God loves you very much as do many of us here at CAF. May you find courage and strength in the Lord!
