Judi. PLEASE don’t stop posting of your wants and needs. I feel EXACTLY the same as you do. But I keep reminding myself that wherever 2 or more are gathered in his name…He is there…He is there for each of us. Everyone single one of us is fighting some sort of battle. The only Perfect One is God. God wants us to pray …I think I even posted before that I wasn’t going to ask anything else of myself but only for Joe and Mom…I always ask others to pray for Joe and Mom but I also ak for prayers for myself because if I cannot be strong for them…there is no one here than help them. With and through the prayers of others (yourself included) you give me the gift from God of strength for each day…We all love you so much. You have somuch to give others and it shines through your words and heartfelt prayers. I love you my friend…and know it is hard for you right not. My prayers for you are daily and as often as I am on my knees or driving down the road just thinking of you and others at CAF who are so wonderful. There is nothing wrong with asking for prayers for yourself. God wants us to pray and With Prayer ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Judi, so you need prayers and they help you, you don’t deserve for people to pray for you or for healing, comfort or peace, why not? Why are you less entitled to God’s mercy, healing and comfort? Why should you not be in fellowship with fellow travelers down life’s path? So maybe I should give back my cure from cancer? I am certainly less deserving than you, so my family doesnt deserve to have their prayers answered, my wife should be a widow and my children without a father?

You pray for others-should your prayers not be answered?

I think you need to get over this guilt trip, you have been a blessing to me and I want and pray for God to provide his blessings to you, each day, I pray for healing from your illness, for relief from your pain, for you and your husband to be as close as any married couple can be that you are able to provide prayers for everyone because my and others prayers for you are answered, In Jesus name I pray amen

A Rosary of the Luminous mysteries sent Heavenward for your intentions. I also spent half of a Holy Hour on your behalf. The other half was for a local priest who just had surgery. I know you’ll understand! 🙂
 
Judi, please don’t stop asking for prayers for you, we all are in need of prayers at some time in our lives. Many here on the forum love you very much and God loves you very much, stay strong! Hugs:hug1:

I prayed for you yesterday as I prayed the rosary and look forward to doing the same tonight. It brings me great joy when I pray for you and I feel blessed for the opportunity to pray for you.

You are God`s child and deserve his prayers. I look forward to praying prayers of gratitude when you are healed, and until then, will continue to pray for your physical and spiritual well-being.

Judi. You are a child of God just as I am (or we all are). Please don’t stop asking for prayers…Your need for prayers is as great as my own need for prayers…and others here at the Forum who need prayers. ALL of our prayers…no matter how big or how small…are requests to our loving God to help us. You give so much of yourself to others…please don’t stop asking for prayers…God wants you to ask…He is listening…and He will answer…His answers may even come through us…I love you my friend…Diane
 
There are many types of prayers and one of them is the pray for petition. God would not of taught us that if He did not want us to pray for our needs and have others pray for us too. Even at Mass there are prayers for eachother and candles lite for prayers,etc. It is actually humbling to ask others to pray for us and it is humbling to ask God personally too. Even though God knows our needs, He likes to hear us ask Him. For one thing, this gives Him glory,because by asking , we admit we need Him and are powerless without Him.
I use to think I shouldn’t ask for prayers too. But a priest told me that was actually egotistical of me. At first I felt kinda angry with what the priest said,because I thought it was a good thing I was doing, but I learned that it was the trick of the devil to convince me not to ask for help from others or from God. I wish I could explain it much better,but please ask for prayers. If you don’t you take away the opportunity for another to be charitable.Personally, I KNOW I am alive today, because others have prayed for me.
I am praying hard for you.Thank you for the chance to do something charitable for someone…you!
 
Please God, help Judi to realize that asking for prayers for herself are what You want us to do on this earthly life. Surround her with your love and let the Holy Spirit comfort her…Amen

I am feeling very unworthy of prayers. I am not saying this because I am trying to “sound” humble. I am saying it because I feel useless in this life. That is the point of my not wanting to post. I am sorry if I offend any of you for saying this. I am at a weak point (obviously) emotionally that I have never been at for a long, long time. The physical aspects of my life do not help.

You all, will forever, remain in my prayers. I am still exceptionally grateful for all of your prayers.

I will continue praying for you daily Judi. I know this is wearing you down and pray that God will give you the strength to keep persevering.
 
Dear Judi,

I am so sorry things are so hard. Your life here on earth has so much meaning Judi. God has used you to bless all of us here at CAF. You have helped so many people here at CAF and have been such a source of strength for me. And to think we have never even met “in person!” All the people who have the opportunity to know you in person, on a day to day basis, are even more blessed. So many lives are touched by the power of your prayers, and by your example.

A friend reminded me yesterday that it is important to do one thing for myself each day, that brings me joy. Whether that is going for a walk, talking a bubble bath, or buying a small treat for myself. I know with health struggles, it can be difficult to find the energy to do anything that is not absolutely necessary. But please do one nice “fun” thing for yourself today–even if it is something simple like drinking sparkling water out of a fancy wine glass.

I will be praying for you today Judi.

We all feel the same because of so much wickedness
prowling in the World. Thus , we should’nt loose our Trust
On Our so Merciful and loving God . I always pray The
Rosary of God’s Mercy. You can’t Guess How many
people pray for you even without reading this request.

Dear Lord Jesus help Judi during this time of need and sufferring both mentally and physically. None of us are capable of doing everything in this life we need to without your help, show mercy upon her and comfort her and grant her peace during her time of need, let her feel the love all have for her and grant her your peace and healing, in your name I pray, amen
