coming where not invited, what’s that?
lol…this is an open forum . U may ask the admin to introduce section ’ for Christians ’ only ( if u don’t have that already ) .

Ask new Christians to share their stories there . So that Muslims can’t visit that thread or raise any question.

** This post has no value. It is only an accusation of the high order. There is no example (reference) given. The words of the Quran may be an exact copy of the words in bible OT/NT. Then what will you say?**
You know, i find it funny when something like that is so famous throughout the non-Muslim world and yet Muslims make no claim or feel shame for what it preaches. If the Bible said something similar about Muslims, i would have become Muslim! Too bad Islam was invented 600 years later.

Of course you can raise questions, however when the thread goes too far off topic (which is happening) the thread will probably be closed. You can raise questions in other threads. As you say, it is an open forum, you are welcome to create your own threads.

**Sorry, you have misunderstood Muhammad. have you seen the Quran? Have youheld it in your hand? The prophet onhis travels could discuss with your Rabbis and remember allthose things then paly it back in 23 years. What an idea you had. Something impossible.

There is no need to reply to any of your thinking. Very loose thoughts to downplay and deny a man of God.**
Have you read the Qur’an? 😃 Even a three and a half year old girl knows that Jews and Christians are to be hated perpetually. And its done in the most respectful manner. 😃

Click on this link if you dare:
Arabs brainwashed little girls to hate Jews

Now i’ll wait for your response that this isn’t Islam. 😃

WHY I LEFT ISLAM?**

This question has so many answers the full meaning of which I have gradually comprehended. First, I started to have many doubts concerning some verses in the Quran and failed to get satisfactory answers from the experts of the Islamic scripture. The more I questioned basic tenets of Islam, the further I got away from Mohammed and his religion. What bothered me most was that Allah was believed to send His books to four major prophets, but two of these books were distorted (The Law & Gospel), and one got lost (the Book of Psalms)! Even though there was not a single verse in the Quran to support the distortion theory, all Muslim scholars and commentators made up stories that aimed to prevent Muslims even from touching the Bible. In my opinion, the same God of the Old & New Testament would never deprive His believers of Hİs eternal truth by letting some wicked scribes or clerics replace His holy word with human lies! When I read about the Christian view on the Judaic scripture, I was surprised to see that Christianity never resorted to the distortion theory. Besides, when I got my first Gospel to compare it with the Quran, I found a totally different form of Scripture. In contrast to Quran, which included the stories and testimonies of various prophets, the Gospels focused on Jesus! The evangelists did not need to repeat most of the stories in the Old Testament since Jesus endorsed the Old Testament as the authoritative and immutable word of God. Quran, on the other hand, retold many stories in the Old and New Testament in order to correct many so-called mistakes and point at the deviations from the truth! In short, Islam taught that revelations had been consigned to humanity only for a short time until the advent of Islam. Thus, God’s message was hidden or distorted and the process of establishing the only true faith (Islam) in the world was recurrently disrupted.

When I was a student at secondary schools, I mostly annoyed my professor of religion with my objections to his assertions about the Christian scripture. I remember very well once he said
“ on the first page of the Gospel is written that Joseph is Jesus’ father although they claim God is Jesus’ father. You see they have so many contradictory tenets” (later I realized that he was referring to Joseph’s genealogy in Matthew’s Gospel!). I responded “ we should ask Christians about their Scripture, they must have a valid reason for that verse in the Gospel”. Again, each time they hammered into our brain that the Nicene Council convened to choose the canonical Gospels and burn thousands of others that were the evidence of textual corruption, I raised my hand and asked “How come the people at the council chose four Gospels, but not one? Why did they not think of changing the names of the evangelists (why Mark and Luke rather than two of the 12 apostles?) or of basing the reliability of the Gospels on Jesus’ dictation?

When I was a practicing Muslim, I recited certain chapters from the Quran. Interestingly, I delighted in reading about Jesus and Mary and memorized some verses of chapter 3 and 19 as a natural result of reading them over and over. Jesus and His life fascinated me more than the stories of the other religious figures. The story of His conception, His birth and infancy, His prophetic mission, His apostles, and passion and resurrection (in short, from the womb to the tomb) indicated simplicity mixed with faith and mystery. I am proud of my faith and my LORD. I pray that I keep growing in faith, hope, and love till the day of my second meeting with the Prince of Life upon the clouds. Blessed be His name forever.
Wow this is beautiful, as are you Angelos. It is very uplifting to hear and see how Love and truth have been woven into your heart.

Try to ignore the pettyness that goes on here as people try to hijack threads like this.

Peace!

I noticed from time to time some of you guys mentioned you were former Muslims. If you are would you mind sharing your stories about your backgrounds and how you came to reject Islam and embrace the True Religion (Christianity)? I love hearing these stories.
*
P.S. Since some of our Mohammedan warriors on this forum will no doubt attack your posts and try to malign your characters, if you don’t feel like “casting your pearls before swine lest they trample them underfoot” by posting in this thread, would you mind PMing me just sharing how you came to accept Christianity?*

Thank you! 😃
*
P.P.S. Just to make it clear because I’m sure someone will try it, this thread is NOT for people to tell about how they converted to Islam (cough AmericanRevert cough)!!*
I am also a former Muslim but dear friend you should ask me some questions then I can answer!Because, you know that, this type of stories is too long so it can not be explained in a day!:blessyou:

/// your Quran refers to Christians and Jews as “pigs”, “monkeys” and “apes”;
Jews & Christians are referred as ‘’ people of the holy book ‘’ in Quran.

about calling Christians & Jews as pigs , monkeys----Are u intentionally spreading a lie here ?

Quran described a past incident . During the time of Prophet Moses (p), a group of Jews violated the coommand of Sabath .

God punished them , make them pig & apes & they all died after few days.

No where holy Quran says ALL Jews & ALL Christians are pigs or dogs.

Question

Your book describes the Jews as children of pigs and apes, yet you claim you are tolerant, merciful, and peacful to the world.

How come you say you are tolerant to someone if you believe he is a descendant of apes and pigs?

ans. Dr. Muzammil H. Siddiqi, president of the Fiqh Council of North America

Dear Jack, you have not received correct information about the Qur’an.

I recommend that you read it yourself.

In the Qur’an, Allah has mentioned in three places stories of people who were turned into apes and pigs. Almighty Allah says:

And ye know of those of you who broke the Sabbath, how We said unto them: Be ye apes, despised and hated!

(Al-Baqarah 2:65).

He also says: [Shall I tell thee of a worse (case) than theirs for retribution with Allah?

Worse (is the case of him) whom Allah hath cursed, him on whom His wrath hath fallen!

Worse is he of whose sort Allah hath turned some to apes and swine, and who serveth idols. Such are in worse plight and further astray from the plain road]

(Al-Ma’idah 5:60).

In another chapter, He says:

So when they took pride in that which they had been forbidden, We said unto them: Be ye apes despised and loathed!

(Al-A`raf 7:166).

In these verses, you will see that that a group of people refused to follow Allah’s commands that were given to Moses.

They had turned against Allah’s laws and were punished by being turned into apes and pigs.

Long time, no see. You are finally here.
Please write your conversion story too. We all are equally precious in our Lord’s sight. He talks to our hearts in different languages to convey the same truth.

No probs…
The amount of people that hug you on these threads, you must feel like to most loved person on earth at the moment!

Hello and good mornin,

Ya know, when you instigate trouble, you ask for it. When you throw things out there without knowing the details of Islamic knowledge, you ask for trouble. It isn’t the Muslims, it is the sarcasm you bring into your own threads that makes a Muslim HAVE to defend idiotic statements that you think you understand but you don’t and if we don’t reply to them, you say we never answer your questions…so hypocritical and then you bash the Muslims…so typical.
by Roamin…Here’s my problem with Islam’s claim to truth- it is obvious that Mohammed was influenced by Judaism, Christianity, and other local religions prior to his instituting of Islam. Jewish tribes lived in Arabia, so the pantheistic Arabs were exposed to monotheism already. Also, as a trader, Mohammed had encountered the epicenter of world monotheism- Jerusalem! He met priests and rabbis, no doubt, in his travels, and as was the time, engaged in substantive conversations about beliefs.
This is based on what? Similarites? You don’t think all the Prophets (peace be upon them all) taught the same message? Look how many prophets were sent to the Jews and nothing was changed…except a need for more prophets since they kept and still are disobeying God. Mohammad (sws) never stole or took from anyone. If you recall, what you claim as truth is no where near Islam…Islam teaches Monotheism, you teach polytheism.

You think an illiterate person, no reading or writing would even take from books that aren’t original and pass them off on his own? Do you really think that Mohammad (sws) stole from the Bible and the Torah (which are in no way preserved), which have plagiarism inside its own Bible******, you really think that a man such as this would even want to claim the Bible as truth? The Bible is on its own…can’t stand up to the Quran in every way shape or form…it’s not original, the words were never kept and preserved…unknown authors of the Bible, stories I wouldn’t say to my children even, and science…well, the first page states the day was made before the sun…you really think Mohammad (sws) would take from this book??? He was not a stupid man…he was known throughout Arabia as the most trustworthy of men~~even amongst the disbelievers~the idol worshipers.

No where in the Quran does Mohammad (sws) ever say he wrote it. He never claimed it from himself nor did he ever say he was in charge of creating it.
These claims are false that you have put out there …no mistake in it. You can say beliefs contradict your belief, but that does not make mistakes.
By Roamin…It would be spurious to say that Mohammed didn’t know of these religions, for the fact is, many non-mutual religious traditions are found in the Koran- even Gnostic Christianity! Which of course, if the Muslim Prophet was attempting to claim spiritual lineage from Christianity (People of the Book), then he was obviously misinformed about Christian disagreements- he incorporated heresy into his work (Gospel of Thomas).
Also, why did God wait over 600 years after Christianity to correct mistakes? It’s a little ridiculous, I think we can agree.
P.S. Also, to whoever is using Mohammedans…wow, that is outstandingly antiquated, Even the Popes ceased using that a while ago; I doubt words like that would be understood in a comfortable settings of a Novus Ordo parish. Not very “common” that word.

It’s Muslims or Moslems.

This is probably what inspired the pagan Mohammed to accept Monotheism:
You claim that the God of all prophets, you think that the messages He sent would be different? Are you underestimating what our Creator has sent or sends? You blame a prophet of God for God’s message…you have no clue and you cannot say that just because he knew about them, that this is the reason they are similar…you have no proof whatsoever! What you should do is ask why there is plagiarism in your own bible to your Christian Theologians!

So you use a time limit and think it is ridiculous? You put a limit to our Creator? You think time is an issue? Silly…look how long they lived in the past…or don’t you know history? And you claim time is an issue lol.

He was a chosen messenger of God. He didn’t choose himself. One should not underestimate the abilities of God.
