Can Catholics be Democrats?

The day I left the Republican party was after a year of being told by party leaders that I had to accept abortion, that I had to be pro-incrementalism. In 45 years the incremental approach has not worked.

Thing is, I cannot accept even one direct abortion. Lesser of two evils is still evil, one cannot do evil in order to do good, so, I cannot embrace Republican abortions. Nope. Never.

You are too dense and stubborn to realize neither party lines up with everything the Catholic Church teaches.
While this maybe somewhat true, there is actually one party that clearly is at complete odds with the RCC…and religion in general. When has the Republican Party done anything remotely close to what the last administration did to Catholic religious through the HHS mandate? The Little Sisters of the Poor, Priests for Life and EWTN among others were forced to choose between crippling fines and violating their consciences. They were in a fight for their very existance!

This mandate was inserted into Obamacare by former HHS secretary Kathleen Sebelius who is Catholic…and “staunchly pro-choice” by the way. And the very fact that they were completely and absolutely unrelenting in their pursuit to force these religious to comply is utterly incomprehensible to me! Only recently, under the current administration, are they beginning to see daylight. No thinking Catholic with a clear and well formed conscience should ever be able to overlook such a cowardly act. If you’ve ever met any of the Little Sisters of the Poor, then you’d know full well that the term “cowardly act” that I used is a complete understatement!

You disagree with one policy decision so the entire party platform is anti all religions? Guess I better let all my reform Jewish friends know.

I disagree with the Obama administration on this policy decision. It’s unlikely that anyone completely agrees with either party 100%.

As was expected, you are a republican first, Catholic second. That’s ok, just be honest about it.

Fair enough. Now answer these few simple questions I have.

Which party promotes transgender indoctrination to kindergarteners…and doesn’t bat an eyelash at using our children as guinea pigs?

Which party has 66% of its members who consider Christianity as violent as Islam?

Which party is the party of abortion and same-sex marriage…and will defend these issues to their dying breath. Never budging, even on something as demonic as partial birth abortion?

Which party constantly invites Planned Parenthood as key note speakers to their presidential conventions?

Which judges, liberal or conservative, are more likely to punish wedding photographers, florists, bakers, with huge, massive fines simply for wanting nothing more than to obey their conscience, and practice their faith in peace in their businesses?

Which judges, liberal or conservative, are more likely to rule that crosses, ten commandments monuments, or other religious statues are to be removed in favor of a very small vocal minority, after they’ve been in existence at these locations for many, many decades?

What party’s mayors and city officials across the country said that they were “banning” fast food restaurant Chick-fil-A from their cities because their company president Dan Cathy said unapologetically that he is in “support of the traditional family.”?

Now one final question. Can you name me just one instance where conservatives have fought this hard against religious freedom?

Yes, the American Solidarity provides Catholics with an option that incorporates social teaching with family values.

There is a tyranny between the 2 major parties and there is very, very little leeway for other parties to gain strength.

Our nation is reduced to a childlike red vs blue mentality that is not beneficial for the country.

Where in the #%^& do I argue it as a right worth protecting?
If you vote for a pro-choice candidate or you yourself are pro-choice, then the very argument of ‘pro-choice’ states that abortion is a right worth protecting.

Once someone accepts the premise of the argument, then there is no reason for it to even be reduced, and coupled with climate change and overpopulation myths, it encourages them to aim for more abortions, not less.

The argument is a total ruse designed to deliberately deceive, Clinton no longer even bothered to say it should be rare, which is where everyone else is heading who use the same fallacious argument.

Republicans have failed to overturn Roe V. Wade for 45 years.
So just give up?
the party will fail to overturn Roe for the NEXT 45 years.
You don’t know that, what we do know however, is that if you vote for a pro-choice party or candidate, they will fail to overturn roe v wade INDEFINAETLY! because they do not even see it as something to be overturned, but rather a right worth protecting. They conceal the right to kill which will never be a right.

Like I said above, one candidate gave a list of pro-life judges and the other candidate said she would only choose from those who considered roe v wade ‘settled law’ so it’s a no brainer.

Thank you for reading

That’s why Donald Trump is in the White House.

And some people still don’t get it.

Also, Ben Shapiro had another interesting analysis the other day: Donna Brazile jumped the Clinton-DNC ship because Bernie is still the future of the party, and if he runs in 2020, he’d win the nomination despite his age.

Interestingly enough, people oh, SOMEWHERE on the internet, were trying to sell that Ted Cruz was a threat to religious liberty because he’s Protestant. 🤣😂

With his own money unlike Democrats who want to make me pay for other people’s abortions. He then made a good SCOTUS appointment and cut off government subsidies to Planned Parenthood. Even if that was not the case, he is not a socialist, a pacifist, or a globalist.

I am a nationalist, not a Republican. My Catholicism is a matter for myself, my God, and my confessor. You are not on that list the last time I checked.
