I thought a vote for Paul was a vote for principle over politics? The money is going to be spent anyway, why should the taxpayers he represents contribute and get nothing in return? Why let it go to someone else?

Bingo. Obama would win by a landslide if he was lucky enough to have Ron Paul as an opponent. Supporting or voting for Ron Paul might make some feel good in the short term, but in the long term, support for Ron Paul will make Obama stronger. Can Ron Paul win - in the general election against the Obama campaign machine - no.
Ron Paul has way to much history and way to many official quotes and statements to not use them against him.
One simple quote he made after the LA riots would sink most campaigns:
…Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks three days after rioting began.

It is.I thought a vote for Paul was a vote for principle over politics?
:yup::nope:
Oh my gosh! Ron Paul endorsed those people?!Paul has endorsed these other candidates:
Chuck Baldwin. Baldwin has been on record early and often in support of the proposition that the South should have won the Civil War.
and Cynthia McKinney McKinney was once arrested by the Israelis while trying to give aid to Hamas and penned an anti-American and anti-Israeli piece. See more of her anti-Americanism here.
and
Ralph Nader

Gets worse.Oh my gosh! Ron Paul endorsed those people?!

Some of those people are very anti-Israel. Eventually, the Ron Paul supporters can say what they want to, but if it looks like a duck, sounds like…Gets worse.

This latest round of information, which I guess is common knowledge with those who follow Ron Paul closely, is something that I find to be very disturbing. It has nothing to do with liberatarianism or foreign policy or the Federal reserve, and everything to do with the character of Ron Paul himself. Some of those people are very anti-Israel. you get my point.![]()
That’s just what I was thinking. Many Paul supporters have to deny ALOT about their man. It would seem that the old cliche is right-where there is this much smoke, there is usually fire. And that does beg the question: Why weren’t Ron Paul supporters disturbed too?
If you want to support Israel, right them a check. Why are you encouraging the government to take MY money by force and send it to them? I have nothing against Israel, I just have bigger priorities with my money. This latest round of information, which I guess is common knowledge with those who follow Ron Paul closely, is something that I find to be very disturbing. Well, no one should argue or act like how your saying-your right, it’s your money and you can should be able to spend it the way you want too.It is MY money that is earned. Some people around here act like I should be grateful that the government lets me keep some of the money that I work by brains out for.
Do Muslims consider Israel holy land?Well, no one should argue or act like how your saying-your right, it’s your money and you can should be able to spend it the way you want too.
Having said that, it’s my opinion that the world is a complicated place and sometimes we need to have support our allies and defend our friends against very, very bad people.
Is it perfect? No, of course it isn’t, but I remain confident that in this country-America, it’s as close to perfect as you’ll get in this world.
Just my thoughts.
Maybe our definition of perfect is different.Well, no one should argue or act like how your saying-your right, it’s your money and you can should be able to spend it the way you want too.

Islamists consider any land Islam ever conquered, subjugated infidels, and built mosques on to be their holy land. The idea of non-Muslims (or even the wrong sect of Muslims) living free of Islamic subjugation on those lands is an abomination that, according to the fanatics, has to be scrubbed out by any means necessary. Israel certainly qualifies.Do Muslims consider Israel holy land?
Are there structures in Israel that are extremely important to them?Islamists consider any land Islam ever conquered, subjugated infidels, and built mosques on to be their holy land.
