Can Ron Paul win?

No, if he’s nominated he can’t win. He reminds me of Neville Chamberlain’s foreign policy views before World War II. I agree with some things he says, but for one thing he’s too old and I believe he himself flip flops too much. Who is the “real” Ron Paul?

However,I’ve heard his son Rand speak, and I think he sounds much more reasonable and likable. Too bad he isn’t running.

Ron Paul’s pretty much across the board the most consistent politician you can find in politics.

I understand there is a foundation of Muslims that are going to target non-Muslims no matter what and no matter where.
We see that in various news articles way too often today. Just not in the MSM, near enough.
The point I’m trying to make is that if our foreign policy is contributing to their numbers then we are only hurting ourselves.
You ask a big IF. When you look back in history, it was the collapse of the caliphate that caused the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood way back in 1928. Their mission is still the same today. Restore the caliphate. Does it even bother anyone (assuming you know the history) that our current government is basically appeasing these Islamic supremacists at the potential expense of our American freedoms?
Would 9/11 have ever even happened had they not increased the numbers of the radical Muslims who hate us?
First there needs to be some kind of proof that the number of radical Muslims has increased due to our foreign policy. But, to answer the question, I think it’s more than likely, yes.

I see what we have done with our foreign policy has been to try to stop the advance of the Islamist agenda… Which is why the Obama admin needs to GO!

To me, Newt is the real answer to this particular problem.

Does this include his newsletter where he (“Oh, not me. I never read my own newsletter”) spouted antisemitic remarks and which was endorsed by the American Nazi party?

Yes, I know. Mr Paul is really a libertarian, and conservatives hate his guts for it /sarcasm
He was working as a doctor when those were written, he said there are about 6 or 8 people that could have written those and if you want to know how he feels go over every article and speech he’s known to have written and find the same language.

Which proves he is a lousy administrator, and would, as such, probably be a poor president.😉

I don’t think he is a bad man, BTW.

The CIA has warned us that we would suffer blowback. Blowback, by their own definition is an attack on our country that stems from actions taken by our own government that were unknown to us, leaving us with the question of “Why did they do that?” and the government unwilling to give us a straight answer.

He made $1 million from that publication, staff by his family. It was a major income producer for him. The chance that he didn’t know what was going on is, well, nil.

Yes, I guess one could assume a doctor delivering children while trying to promote his political beliefs is a lousy administrator. 🤷

It is, if he doesn’t know what’s in his own magazine, doncha think?😉

Incidentally, IF he ended up being the nominee, I would vote for him*. He wouldn’t be able to beat Obama, though…barring a national disaster.
  • As someone famoulsy stated, I would vote for a carton of orange juice against Obama

I believe history has the real answer as to why we have done what we have done.

As for the stuff about blacks being fleet-footed and such, I sincerely doubt Ron Paul is a racist in the White Nationalist sense but he very well could be in the sense that a lot of us have that semi-racist grandfather. He’s from a different time. I’m not that surprised, and I wasn’t that surprised when I first heard of this business back in 2008.

Also, I think there’s a pretty good case for the idea that the article about blacks harassing petite Caucasian and Asian women was written by Lew Rockwell.

theagitator.com/2008/02/02/lew-rockwell-on-rodney-king-in-the-la-times/

That writing seems awfully similar, and I think Reason reported that it’s commonly accepted Lew Rockwell wrote under Ron Paul’s name.

However, I’m really skeptical about these accusations of being anti-Semitic. If Ron Paul wrote these, then how is that he venerates people like Murray Rothbard, Walter Block, and Ludwig von Mises? These are pretty prominent Jewish people. I don’t know any anti-Semites that would be part of an organization named after a Jewish guy.

I don’t know. Watch and wait is what I’m going to do.

I never found Obama’s explanation that he never knew what his mentor Reverend Wright was preaching in his church of twenty years very credible.

But the MSM found Obama to be credible on the matter. And they didn’t take much note of whom Obama was palling around with for so long neither.

So maybe they will find Ron Paul credible too that he had no idea what was going on in his newsletters. Maybe they will give him the benefit of the doubt, just like they did for Obama, if and when the national spotlight becomes focused on him as the Republican contender.
And maybe they won’t take any notice of who he might have been palling around with over the years too.

After all, the MSM didn’t make a big deal about Obama’s church, or Perrys racist rock…
