Unfortunately. I found it poorly written, intellectually vapid, and profoundly disingenuous.
He certainly does not! He claims that Catholic teaching must be “received by the people” in order to be authoritative, and he also claims that the notion that “LGBT” people (in case you didn’t know before, you will learn from the book that sexuality wholly defines one’s identity) are called to life-long celibacy has not been “received” by the faithful, so it can therefore be dismissed. One thing, he supports and uphold’s Catholic Teaching on marriage and sexuality.
His goal, as Jesus and Pope Francis, is to call sinners to repentance and into the fold.

Hey, me too! I guess that makes us a “hate group.”Unfortunately. I found it poorly written, intellectually vapid, and profoundly disingenuous.
So if you reach your decision in good conscience, it is OK to have pre-marital sex? It is difficult to believe that he teaches such. Do you have a reference for this?Archbishop Cupich says that he would not deny Communion to politicians who promote abortion, nor would he deny Communion to sexually-active unmarried or gay couples, if they reached their decision “in good conscience”.
Oh, you’re gonna love Martin’s book. He does this exact same double talk dance on every page. You’re in for a treat! That’s your interpretation.
No one said St John Paul or Pope Benedict were not on Jesus side.
Pope Francis just happens to be the current Pope which is why I mention him.

A just person doesn’t worry about how they feel. And they usually aren’t selfish. Why would you say this?Is that being said just people can feel better about voting Democrat for selfish reasons?
Sure. You can read about his comments in the following articles. And there are many more if you search! So if you reach your decision in good conscience, it is OK to have pre-marital sex? It is difficult to believe that he teaches such. Do you have a reference for this?
May I ask why you find it difficult to believe?Mark121359:![]()

Not sure if your question is meant for AlNg or me. If it’s me, the answer is simple…I don’t find anything coming from the current hierarchy hard to believe.May I ask why you find it difficult to believe?

Well, I guess CAF is going to allow bishop bashing now just like the other “Catholic” sites like Lifesitenews. No surprise here that one who does not unequivocally uphold Catholic teaching invites another who does not unequivocally uphold Catholic teaching.
Isn’t this a common way to insult Pope Francis on “Catholic” sites like Lifesitenews? Don’t call him Pope Francis, but call him by his last name as a sign of disrespect.Like Pope Bergoglio
I don’t wonder. It’s because Republican Catholics confuse their politics and religion. And you wonder why the Church is struggling?
