Thank you for the response. I’m glad its being read. Its my hope, and I wanted to share it with you all. I have to say though, its taking me quite the few times to figure out what you’re saying.

[later] Okay. I think I get what you’re saying. My hope includes a unified world that allows any religion. It is not a One-World Government. My hope is a multi-nation, no-borders, no-citizenship, multi-country, PLANET!

I almost feel and wonder if you were trying to be uncharitable or what.

I also hoped this beautiful hope of mine would also bring peace to this thread and de-rail it back to the loving matter of Catholics and Immigration. It seems to be a fitting thread to put such a beautiful hope on.

Sounds very much like a One World Government.

In a country where the majority rules, the majority can vote in socialism. When the country is full of people who want to take away money from those who have more than they do, they vote for ever increasing government benefits for themselves and thereby confiscate the hard earned savings of the prudent. It’s called redistribution of the wealth and it = socialism. Illegal immigrants will speed up the socialism of this country.

Your argument is against violent property crime, not illegal immigration.

Get real! Our prisons are full of illegal criminals. One out of twelve illegals here have criminal records. My son is married to a Latina woman. Her two nephews, aged 18 and 20 are in jail for 1st degree burglary and possession of a lethal weapon. Our jails are teeming with illegals, and we can’t keep them in for very long because the jails and prisons are overcrowded. Guess why?

You are living in la la land if you can’t see what is happening to this country. I suggest you Google up “Robert Rector and the Heritage Foundation” and read the statistics he has come up with on what illegal immigration is costing this country.
Then read Pat Buchanan’s books, “State of Emergency” and “Death of the West.” He knows a lot more than you do.

I have been watching this thread, and it seems all I see is endless arguments. I don’t know what happened to my posts on this thread, but I’ll sum it all up like this, as this is my 2 cents.

I have a hope. I have a hope that one day, an immigration reform will be introduced by the United Nations. To secure a beautiful and wonderful hope…that the world will no longer have borders. No longer have citizenships. Just a birth certificate and an ID card.

So that when hardship becomes unfair for one person or family in one country, or a disabled person wants to be in a country that has more accommodation…they may do so without time-consuming paperwork! Without paying money for the PRIVILEGE to immigate! Without separating families and married couples! Without having to be in your birth country before you may finally resume your living in your chosen country! Without being at the mercy of immigration officials! Without being persecuted! Without having a future that consists of walking on eggshells because you cannot get food, a job, nor shelter, just because you don’t have citizenship.

The lines we need are welcoming lines that distribute the appropriate ID card after filling out the “I have done no crimes” or the “I wish to be pardoned” forms. Officials can check the person out according to the forms and their birth certificate records instead of pointing a gun at them, instead of persecuting them, instead of demanding what money they brought, instead of strip-searching, instead of whatever injustice.

We can all be unified as ONE PLANET UNDER GOD, feel free to keep our languages, share with one another, laugh with one another, worship with one another, and have the strength to carry crosses the Lord has given us…not the manmade crosses that were unjustly given because of immigration and borders!

This is my hope.

Who will pray rosaries, prayers, Effective Novenas to the Sacred Heart, Chaplets of Divine Mercy, with me? Who will write all their government officials, their President/King/Queen/Emperor asking for this wonderful hope? Who will ask their Church to help pray for this hope? Who will write to the Pope for this wonderful hope to be spoken about and that he, in his wisdom, may inquire about and encourage it?

I have a hope. Who shares it?

i know quite a few people who feel their way of life is being threatened; that the america they would defend with their lives is being handed away on a silver platter.

This is a ploy used by those that plan the breaking up of families; promote single-parent life; instill a guilt trip over children whose parents labor for a better life for their progeny.

The parents are called “greedy” and reigion is called a"bad influence on progress."

Parents who began their families by selecting sound familial backgrounds and spiritual pursuits are called, “bigots” and even “racists.”

Are we supposed to, by some quirky rule, to be less than who we are?

The words, "bigot, greedy, are meant to disavow our heritages.

It’s been going on for more than a generation in America and has a stronghold in the educational system. It’s called. “The Dumbing Down of America.”

“No Child Left Behind,” is another form of dumbing down America…this is a pet project of Mr. Bush, by the way. NOBODY fails–EVERYBODY passes even if you do not apply yourself.

God Himself embraces the family…He came down from Heaven in the form of an Infant into a FAMILY. The family lineages of BOTH Joseph and Mary are meticulously defined.

There was no such thing as single-parent families. This is NOT in God’s Plan.

With the ongoing influx of illegals trespassing over the borders it will accelerate America’s downfall. Of that you can be sure.

Maybe we deserve it as a nation by our transgressions such as abortion; same-sex unions, etc. We are getting punished: the good with the bad. But we must still pray for America.__

I could not agree more. I don’t know about you, but I am tired of being called names by people who know absolutely nothing about me. I am tired of being told I should apologize for slavery when I did not participate. My ancestors arrived on these shores long after slavery was abolished. These social justice people, that are so busy indoctrinating the faithful within the Church, are really poverty pimps. Every diocese in the country should be forced to publish the salaries of these people so we can see who it is they are really concerned about. Catholic Charities gets over $2 billion from the taxpayers. It is 2/3 of their budget. No wonder they love big government programs.

I’m no fan of Eleanor Roosevelt, but she was right on target when she said that where ever Rome rules poverty abounds.

In a ONE WORLD GOVERNEMENT America will be about 5% of the world’s population. If this government is a democracy, (one man one vote) where do you think that will leave this country?

That means the rest of the world can tax the hell out of us and confiscate what we have so as to spread the world’s poverty to our shores. That is socialism. Redistribution of the wealth = poverty and third world country status for the U.S.

The reason America was the success story of all history with a high standard of living is because the founding fathers established a government that enabled a large middle class to emerge.

When Benjamin Franklin emerged from the Constitutional Convention someone asked him, “Mr. Franklin, what kind of a government have you given us?” He replied, “A Republic if you can keep it! But if the American people ever realize that they can vote the largesse of the government for themselves, it will fail.”

These politicians think they are feathering their own nests and when the illegals become a voting force they will keep these same people in office. It will not be that way…illegals will elect their own kind. That’s life in the realality.

Americans must stand up for their identity. Do not be ashamed of who you are and associate with those who are of like mind. Honor your heritage and ancestors. Do not let them take that away from you by their namecalling. So what…just consider the source!

I agree. Ron Paul was the only one that was telling it like it is. Hopefully, he might run on a Third party;; he could pull in millions of votes. Make no mistake about it. Middle America is fed up with the two parties.

Most of the laws are passed to bury us deeper and deeper. It has taken a long time but finally, Moiddle America has wised up.

If Ron Paul is not on the scene in November 2008, we will still have a Party to go to. The Constitution Party. This is the one Pat Buchanan ran on some years back.

Pat Buchanan is a favorite of mine. He is a good Catholic man very devoted to his Faith. He foretold of the invasion of the illegals a few years ago. Pat is Middle America. He came from a modest-income family with brothers and a sister (Bay). I have, in the past, have written Pat in support when the Eastern Establishment was out to destroy him. He answered my letter PERSONALLY. he said he does when he is able. He is a remarkable man of great intellect and wisdom. I believe the Holy Spirit works through this good man.

I wouldn’t mind giving away a few States either but I’m afraid there is too much money the entitlement folks would not let get away.

They are after us—do not think for a nanosecond that this amnesty is not tailored to destroy us–Middle America. We have our Judases in Congress from BOTH Parties.

The school systems wher the illegals takeover will be gang-controlled. It’s already that way in places in Calif. It is reality.

We have nowhere to go. So we gather together and face what comes.

I admire much about *** **** and *** ********. But a vote for them is a vote for *******. Much as we might like to see it different, there is no way that a third party can be elected at this time in history. Sometimes our votes have unintended consequences. I know that there is a candidate on the horizon who believes in protecting our borders.

I cannot tell you the reason(s) why but either ******* loses the general Election; or ******* is not nominated; or ******* gets sick; or ******* dies (that could happen to anyone…not wishing for it) or ******* gets ill and cannot go on; BUT ******** WILL NOT WIN THE PRESIDENCY.

However, it could be ** **** who gets the nomination. He will probably win because of Bush. Any Republican who is tied to Bush CANNOT win.

The only Republicans I could vote for are 1) *** ****; or 2) ***** *****.

But I’ll more likely go Constitution Party.
