A number of things have happened to change my mind quite clearly. I ask Allah for His forgiveness for any insults I have aimed towards the true deen of Islam.

At present not a single person IRL knows I’m transgendered, and so I have to act as a Muslimah. That means hijaab.

Well, it claimed under islam, that once you become a “muslim”, **all **of your past sins are forgiven.

Also, another way to get rid all of your sins under islam, is that you must do the Hajj - you know go to SA and go around the Kaba and then run up the hill and throw stones at this building where they claim the devil lives.

These actions will remove all of your sins, under islam.

Actually I am not. I still haven’t undergone serious gender counselling nor have I undergone any surgery. I’m in consulation with an imam regarding this issue and I’m beginning to feel that surgery may not be the best option.

Plus, Allah created me female. There is a reason for Him doing so. I shall endeavor to find my purpose according to His will and live it. This is the meaning of submission.

Judging? I thought it was fact? Since when do Muslims have the salvation of Christ?

It is contrary to their beliefs.

841 The Church’s relationship with the Muslims. “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.”

I’m not even sure why that is in the CCC. Especially when in other places it makes protestants look like second class citizens. And the CCC is not considered infallible. It is updated and changed from time to time.

I for one do not agree. And am tired of PC in the church for the sake of nothing but accommodating others…especially when it is non-Christians who persistantly persecute Christians. Nobody will lop your head off for leaving Christianity…try doing that with islam.

Having read the koran from cover to cover I am very aware of what you are talking about. the koran is completely contradictory to what Christ…our God and Savior…taught. Christ taught love. Mohammad taught violence and hate. Christ taught humility. Mohammad taught arrogance. Christ taught to walk away shaking the dust of their village from your sandals if they rejected the Gospel. Mohammad taught the murder those who rejected his message. How can anyone accept that message?

One of the "things a muslim must do in life IF they are healthy & THEY can do, … is go to Saudi Arabia

Is called a “hajj” - go to SA & visit the Ka’ab. You know the black cube. They need to clean themselves and put on this white cloth type covering for the men…

Anyway, they walk around this black cube 7 times… and then there is this building up the road… I don’t know how many miles from the cube.

They believe satan lives in there and they throw stones on this building…

I think you missed the whole ritual.

First is the hajj - going to the Kaba - black cube in SA.

Then it’s going around the Kaba 7 times back & forth

Then it’s kissing the Kaba

And then… this happens…

Stoning of the devil during ‘Hajj’:

During Hajj they circle 7times around kaba made of stone.

they kiss a stone which is called hajr aswad.

then thy run from one stone to another stone 7 times which is called safa or marwa

then they pick up 70 stones, to stone the devil

Why do they do this…? ’

Cause their allah commanded them to follow the the way which is called “sunna” of their prophet.

You only have 400+ postings since you’ve joined and I can assure you, there has been a great debate for many years regarding CCC841.

Many Catholic posters who were members of this site have left here because they do not believe in CCC841.

And I suspect a few Catholic posters have left the CC because of CCC841…

Or should I say… " I PROFESS" that they have left the CC, since CCC841 claims that the “muslims PROFESS to uphold the faith of Abraham”

Not only that…but the CCC is not the final authority on Catholic teaching. I know that sounds confusing…but it’s true. The current version of the CCC and CCC841 are primarily the opinions of Vatican II and JPII. Somehow I don’t think Benedict has quite the same admiration for islam.
