Then we both see similar the narration of Jesus (pbwh) we see the similar teaching. My own thoughts on the parable are that God is the landowner, each of us is the fig tree and Jesus is the gardener. I think it is speaking about the need for repentence and if we do not repent nor “bear good fruit” we will “be cut down” and go to hell. Just my own thoughts.
G-d is all powerful and just Jesus (pbwh) is mercy and has G-ds permission. G-d has given to Jesus (pbwh) and he gives to the tree. So is the parable.
Parables were a way of avoiding confrontation Jesus (pbwh) seemed pretty switched on to me and could have easily spoke of a land owner deciding to keep and nurture his tree, but he did not. Who am i to know better. I respect many men say they do and teach as they do and lead others in their way. i aspire to hold the teaching of My Brother in my heart.
AmenAfter re-reading your OP, you have made some very good points and your interpretation is certainly not wrong. Everyone is called to love their enemies. Our job is to teach them the Gospel through our actions as well as our words.
Please help me, sharpen me please quote what i wrote that says this, please, please, please (not to be smart) so many others say this and i thought my previous acknowledged this with Sr Holly who also did not quote me.But that also doesn’t mean that we have to tolerate sinfulness and part of loving someone is correcting them when they are wrong.
I respect CAF is a place where people burn with passion to show the splinter in the eye but my intention for this thread was to build a kingdom on seeing goodness.
The parable shows separation to teach us, i did not write it, and I have no right to change it or it will teach different. My understanding is the Catholic Church teaches The members of The One true Church are parts of Jesus (pbwh) body.I spoke about Jesus being God only because you separated Him from God and put a “pbwh” after His name, an indication that you do not understand that He IS God.
Yeshua (pbwh) is narrated to the effect he has peace and offers it to any called and chosen or to be so. So I tell you “true peace be with him”God does not need us to wish peace on Him - He is the one who gives us peace.
You have free will and can choose different no offence to me i am only doing as i see i am called to do.
If you still dont see these as straight i will try to offer more or you may help me by explaining the scriptures i speak of with better clarity than what is written.
Maybe above i am wrong clearly G-d did not want to tolerate sinfulness but Jesus (pbwh) said he would for the year and nurture it away. As for the bold you are spot on G-d entitles you to justice Amen many Muslims are very big on this also. worth some big thinking. “am i called to the mercy seat or justice seat”But that also doesn’t mean that we have to tolerate sinfulness and part of loving someone is correcting them when they are wrong.
Hey wait up for Christians Jesus (pbwh) tolerated being nailed to a cross that seems to imply either he was powerless or tolerated sin. If you say he is G-d then he surely can not be powerless. even if you say oh but he was in flesh then G-d has no power in flesh. I say G-d has power over all things and all states of being.
For Muslims the same does not apply as most deny he was crucified.
If Christians are not called to tolerate sin and Muslims are not why would they need to convert to the same belief?
Bless ya thanks for the help
