There’s an important difference 'tween ‘some’ and ‘all’
which reflects the reason underlying my question…
There is no reason to point out the obvious in a place that frequently discuss the same topic over and over.

It helps to repeat some things for the sake of some who never knew what’s going down… ?

Bishops don’t have much of an audience so maybe that’s why.
There’s an audience all right. But not so much on their (some say lack of) Teaching…

Maybe that connects with what some venture as the noted - tendency of some to Sin, Silence and Coverup wrt active homosexual actions ---- and the damages wrought to other clergy and laity-victims, along with sins of omission re: Teachings on Abortion, Homosexuality, etc?

No, that was an attempt to save face, accompanied by a intellectual enviroment that favored coverups along with a bad understanding of the problem in general.

The known homosexual underground network is causal to those problems… ?

No, it was likely ignorance on what the proper actions are.
That’s one way of putting it…

Another part of that reality - are wolves are they? who led many astray - as is Prophecied.

That said. Today? Even those misled should by now now/realize that - and fess up and repent

Maybe those who were behind it support and possibly involve in - homo-sexual activity?
It is more likely that they are just part of or influenced by the pro-LGBT opinion that has become part of secular media.
I’ve attended a number of churches that welcome LGBT people, including those in same-sex relationships, and many of those who have been active in helping to make their congregations more welcoming have been doing this for decades, long before there was any sort of “pro-LGBT opinion” in the secular media. Some of those people are gay themselves, but many of them are straight. And those straight people, some of whom are clergy, have been moved to do this because they personally know LGBT people in their congregations or in their families and recognize that they are in loving relationships. They also recognize that LGBT people had been oppressed for a long time and view their fuller inclusion as a social justice issue. I would like to think that some people in the congregations my partner and I have attended over the years changed their minds on this issue because they came to know us.

Honestly, jan10000 identifies herself as a “cultural Catholic”, whatever that means. Why are we even bothering to argue with her? She obviously puts the culture above the Catholicism. Her arguments are nonsensical.
