Well, sugar, there’s your problem right there. The whole idea that priesthood is some kind of power trip and thus, if women cannot be priests, that they are somehow denied power.Jesus deliberately chose a Samaritan woman (not man) to announce His presence to a whole nation of people, and what’s more the disciples didn’t dare question His speaking with her.

The Holy Spirit of God is quite capable of working through women and men in the same way. He is quite capable of empowering women to announce God’s kingdom, to look after His sheep, to minister, to love, to sacrifice, to lead and so on.
God bless
But priesthood is a vocation and a calling, and it is about service. Not POWER but service.
Because our incredibly skewed society has its knickers in a twist insisting that everybody has a ‘right’ to do whatever they ‘choose’. . .they are tearing down the ‘walls’ of anything which looks as if it denies a power.
So because some rabble rousers have decided to redefine priesthood as “the power of the Church” and to argue that this ‘denies women’. . .we see poor deluded souls like this ‘fakeypriest’ woman and those equally deluded souls who have bought into the lies arguing that women ‘should be priests’.
They know, if they have an intellectually honest bone in their bodies, that there is absolutely no way that they can show that priesthood was something that Jesus conferred on women–because it is crystal clear that He did not.
And so–of all the incredible arguments which prove how bizarre and deluded this argument of ‘womenpriesthood’ is– they claim that Christ was 'unable to ordain women because of the times He lived in.
Yes, God-made-man who died and rose from the DEAD was unable to ordain women because it was ‘too hard’ considering the (assumed) male-dominated time period.
Sure. Right. Absolutely. Yep, and He waited 2000 whole years until magically some ‘elite force’ outside the Catholic Church determined that, hey, Jesus really WANTED to ordain women but couldn’t because of the times He lived in, so we should start it now that WE were all enlightened.
And I’m supposed to believe all this claptrap because some people with absolutely no authority whatsoever are telling me a bunch of baloney that flat-out contradicts history itself? I dinna think sae, lads and lassies. . .
