I love the exaggerated language of these liberals. Chick-fil-A isn’t supporting traditional marriage; they’re not even simply opposing gay marriage. No, in the language of the liberal (re)activist, they’re “funding anti-human rights groups.” As though these organizations are trying to take away homosexuals’ jobs, homes, and food and herd them into ghettos and forced labor camps.

Homosexuals have every right that we have, including the right to marriage. The fact that the legal definition of marriage does not meet their desires doesn’t amount to denying them a right. It’s not as though heterosexuals can get married to someone of their own gender and they can’t. You can’t say you’re denying one group of people a right that no one has to begin with.
👍

Check out my local news coverage.

The headline says “activists kiss in protest at Chick Fil A.”

In the article, they managed to find two girls who plan to kiss.

hahahahaha

I imagine that many in the media are just as puzzled and confused as the fired CFO who probably thought his stunt would be strongly supported. After all, everybody knows that everyone, at least every good person, supports same-sex “marriage” because those who don’t are bigots, haters, homophobes and will soon be extinct.

Of course.

Interesting piece on the Huffington Post site (yes I know). It states that the reaction has varied by region, with some areas having lines out into the parking lot, and others starting to boycott. The focus of the article is the experience of gay employees working there. In some cases, the customers have been extremely uncharitable in their language, and offensive to those employees. The company guidance to employees, is to remain neutral and respond with something like, “Thank you for your business.” The article also points out that Chik-Fil-A is a franchise. So the work environment and management differs from store to store. Interestingly, Cathy has left the public spotlight after his public remarks. If I were a franchise owner, who is now being boycotted due to Cathy’s, I would not appreciate his need to go public with his views at all. Sad to lose a business for that reason. I was under the impression that Cathy’s company owned the individual stores. While I would defend his right to free speech, I think he was very irresponsible in his behavior, given the impact that a boycott may have on the individual franchise owners who may lose their businesses because of his public statements.

Here is the article:

How could a customer possibly know the sexusl behavior an employee engaged in?

You mean you don’t ask who the employee is sleeping with when you order your food? I do, usually like this: “I’ll have the chargrilled chicken cool wrap, large fruit cup, and large Coke Zero. Oh, and by the way, are you currently engaged in sexual relations with someone of your own gender?” If said employee answers in the affirmative, I begin to berate him/her until I am escorted out of the restaurant.

Of course, this is after I have waited one to two hours to buy my chicken. I like to wait for hours to purchase chicken in my free time. It is definitely frustrating when I wait for so long, only to be served by a homosexual!

Whatever for chick fil a. I won’t support a fast food joint that supports the inhumane treatment of chickens, simply so they can save a buck and put out cheap food. Shame on them. Maybe they haven’t read their bible as closely as they think. Abusing animals is unchristian.

I doubt many will consider frying or grilling a chicken to be inhumane.
Particularly considering the feast that occurs afterwards.

Problem is, if you use free range chickens, the cost of a chicken sandwich would be $12, hurting the poor who eat there the most.

Also, the poor I am sure do not buy pricey free range chicken at the grocery store, so what would be the difference?

Because chicken being stuffed in cramped conditions 27/7, being fed unhealthy feed is inhumane. I’m a vegan, but I’m not anti meat. But when animals are tortured just for the sake if someones appetite, that is just gross abuse.
Besides, if the average person knew what was pumped into those chicks to make them grow faster, they wouldn’t want to eat them. Lets just say it’ no surprise that so many people are obese ad unhealthy. You are what you eat fits very well here.

Average time in the fry vat is minutes. Before then, storage.
But I doubt the chickens care.
being fed unhealthy feed is inhumane.
CFA feeds chickens to humans, not ‘feed’.
And I doubt every mennu item to be unhealthy.

So what does this have to do with the offense to free speech that government officials as well as homosexual activists have done towards CFA?

As someone whose family is a part of this industry, I can tell you that this is untrue. There is no incentive to use poor quality, unhealthful feed because that would only lead to smaller, unhealthy chickens with less meat (and therefore less profit per bird). There is also no reason to keep them in cramped conditions because this would mean that disease would be more likely to spread. Quite a bit of effort is spent trying to make sure that they are healthy. Diseased birds can’t be sold and the company loses money if they die prematurely.

Ppl need to control how much they eat… and o… I dunno… exercise ? I do support Chik-fil-A tho. Never ate there… but there are none around me at the moment tho. I’m not gonna worry about the whole chicken abuse thing… I’ll let God deal with it.

Would rather spend my energy fighting baby killers and the homo agenda. ( Of the two tho… i’m more concerned about the baby killing going on ).
