My result is the following:

I took the test before and it had Catholic listed as first.
 
I found one I decided not to link to because it’s time-consuming to take, but it gave my best match as Celtic Orthodox. I decided to see what that is. I just looked it up. Does anyone know anything about or have any opinions about the Celtic Orthodox Christian Church? The test that sent me there didn’t talk about beliefs but was a quirky personality test.:hmmm:

This is the quiz. It asks you to choose your favorite of two colors many times, then gives you a long list of careers that a survey found suited many people who like the colors you like, then you can see what religions those people believed in the study they used to set it up. But it’s acting weird right now. I don’t know what it is, but it calculated my color preferences differently this time, not the way I chose them exactly, and I can’t find the religion section.

That one is just too weird. Colour preference has no effect on religion. According to this quiz, because I like blue-violet, I am a Baptist. :whacky:

and I was married in and attended Nazarene

Currently attend occasionaly a Pentecostal

and a while ago went to the Baptist.

However the Eastern Orthodox and Anglican, are a mystery, Do these all have things in common?? The next were in the low 70’s.

and I found a question about communion so Im starting a thread, rather than derail our lovely quizzes. also I guess my fav colour is violet. true but a bug eyed thing to do :eek:

The numbers have something to do with the colour preferences. The lower the number the closer to your colour preference the church is. It is completely unscientific.

My bottom third on that one, from #19 to # 27, are Neo-pagan,Theravada Buddhist, Christian Science, nontheist, secular humanist, New Age (tie at 13%), New Thought and Scientology and Taoism (tie at 10%) Maybe they give you 10% just for taking the test.
I will try to find the address to the other one again and link it if anyone is interested. made my top 5 of 13 EOC, Methodist/Nazarene, Anglican, Lutheran and Catholic and my bottom five Congregationalist, Anabaptist, Baptist (non-calvinist), Baptist (partial calvinist) and SDA.
The lesson must be that it really depends on whom you ask. Now I’m more confused.:confused:

I took this one. I got conservative Protestant first, EO second and Roman Catholic third. I knew what I would need to answer to get Roman Catholic first, but I felt that the answers were not always correctly worded and not representative of Catholic beliefs.

Seems to me as if many of these quiz people really don’t understand Catholic beliefs the way they word the questions. This last one quiz, I felt as if I were listening to an anti-Catholic trying to explain my beliefs:(

I know what you mean about that quiz. I’ve taken it before. I answered “confess all sins, not necessarily to a cleric” because that actually is the Catholic teaching (we only need to confess mortal sins to a priest). The way the quiz is set up, that would result in conservative Protestant, rather than Catholic. Also, one of the questions about the Trinity is worded in a way that actually is more Mormon than Christian (you have to be careful to read it closely).

Me too! I answered it that way on the confession question. Like I said, I knew what the “right” answer was to get Catholic, but it really wasn’t a true Catholic answer.

Mormons are probably on the list due to the question about roles for men and women. They do not allow women to be elders, just like Catholics, Orthodox and conservative Protestants do not allow women to be priests or pastors.
