Those experiences can only be determined by competent and holy priests. It was never my intention to offend anyone, the catholic faith or any other religion. I was merely trying to bring light to the subject in order to aid those who experiance similar occurrences.
Claire Myrkle McGrath speaks very, very strongly against raising the kundalini serpent.
You should checkout her interview at EWTN. She knows of what she speaks having once been very deeply into New Age.
If we take the time to study what the Church teaches and the enormous volumes written about the spiritual life, then you will realize that there is absolutely no necessity to go beyond the Church.I am a Roman Catholic, I do not practice yoga or any other type of non catholic practice. I do belive in the soul which we all posess the body and the holy spirit. If we took some more time to understand others perhaps they would not feel the need for information outside of the church.
If you trust in the Holy Spirit, if it is truly His work, He will see to it that if He has given you that gift you will be able to use.The church does have the information on the gifts and charisims of the holy spirit. It is not spoken of often and as so quickly proven here met with indifference.
Sister Briege McKenna was given the gift of healing and for a while refused to even use it. But through constant prodding by our Lord, she finally did.
There is no need to go to any Hindu or Buddhist teacher because whatever you need to make sense of any spiritual movement in you is already found in the Catholic Church.
That is true, but the Truth of Christ, the Gospel that is the Person of Jesus Christ must be proclaimed. We cannot equivocate on that.I am not afriad of unfamiliar words to the point that instead of listening without judgements I would jump to make the person attempting to find understanding and unity feel as if they were an outcast. There is a lot to learn in the world. Our love and compassion as Christians will lead others to God not looking right
There is too much relativism in the world today putting Christianity on par with the other religions. It is not. It is the Church founded by God Himself.
