That or write in a name were the only moral options for the general election. The sinking horror I felt the day Kasich dropped out of the primary remains with me still.

The on,y moral option was to keep HC out of office.Mission accomplished!It’s called prudential judgement choosing the lesser of two flawed candidates.

People seem to forget that Trump was not worthy of a vote on his own merits. He was not pro-life, just less pro-death.

Trump was bold enough to state loud and clear his objections to late term abortions.Calling HC out at that final debate,after she unabashedly announced her support for late and I mean really late term abortions.So certain was she that she would prevail,she removed her mask at that last debate.Even the most ardent abortion supporters cringed at her comments.So yes,it is a matter of degrees.
We have a Conservative new SCOTUS .Thankfully.I shudder to think of the malaise this country would be in right now with HC as the president.

Archbishop Chaput and no doubt all those who work tirelessly to advance the pro life movement would disagree.Like I said before it’s a matter of degrees.Even baby steps towards eliminating abortion is better then moving in the other direction,which we most certainly would have with HC

If you lived in an ultra-blue state, writing in Kasich was an option. (I did not care who won the irrelevant “popular vote,” but liked the idea that the two major nominees would find some missing when they counted them.)

quite a few people voted for him based solely on the supreme court vacancy. a lot of my pro 2A friends that have been die-hard dems voted trump for the 2A issue.

I think “us vs. them” works both ways. This election was very important to conservatives after 8 years of Obama!
 
I love Obama. He is a constitutional scholar, had the utmost dignity. No scandals. Not like now with the idiot’s “presidenticy”
