Leaving the top of the ticket blank or voting third party would not have been pragmatic.Too much at risk n allowing HC into the WH.Those of you who decided to sit out your vote because neither candidate ticked off all your boxes got darn lucky that we are not living a HC presidency.I think most Republicans/ Conservatives understood that and what was at stake.
Having said that ,I hope all of these senators and members of congress on the right understand that for the most part the only reason they were re elected is to hopefully balance things out in the wake of a HC presidency.
So far they have been their true to form,typical weasely selves.:rolleyes:

There was no moral obligation to vote for Trump. For example, I did not vote for Trump and I did not sin in any way. Trump was not going to win my state anyway, so my voting third party did not do any harm and promoted the good. So that was a morally praiseworthy choice.

Perhaps as Christians we need to look at helping people apart from the repeated theft of citizens wealth by a secular political elite.

Fine that is an exception.My brother and s I l living in Seatlle were in the same position.However for the most part Instand by my comments

If I lived in Pennsylvania I probably would have voted for Trump and then worked for his impeachment.

No. Not really. There is not much good Trump is going to do. Appointing Gorsuch is as good as it is going to get. I have the same attitude that Trump has towards his wives, once they are no longer useful, they can be eliminated. If the democrats can impeach him, I say more power to him.

There is plenty he can accomplish if only his senate and congress wouldn’t work against him. Rather than focusing on impeaching Trump better to focus on cleaning the house and senate.You do realize that Trump is the only one who could have beaten HC. I am not clear on your political leanings but my guess is you are a moderate if not more left leaning.At any rate regardless of your personal opinions about Trump he is our president and the relentless baseless distractions are hurting our country.If you don’t like him vote him out in a few years this while impeachment effort is a waste of time and very mean spirited.

You guessed wrong, I am a libertarian. I find both republicans and democrats to be too liberal for me.

After Nixon, I looked into the Libertarian Party, voting for Ron Paul and Harry Browne whenever I could. As did some of my colleagues. Then the 2000 elections and 9/11 made a political junkie out of me. 🙂

You are right about the two major parties. And I have a serious problem with Paul Ryan and Rand Paul pretending to be libertarian. Or are they pretending to be Republican?
