Coffee or coffee? The answer is Coffee!

Wrong thread, man. You’re looking for Tea Time two doors down on the left. If you reach the Hootch Hutch you’ve gone to far.

I’m down to a cup at a time, a couple of times throughout the day, so I’m looking for a single cup maker. Keurig’s seem to be efficient, especially if you can use your own beans
do a web search on
coffee cupping
I’ve never done it, but it is how coffees are judged and rated, making small amounts.

or check out sweetmarias.com–I think there’s a couple of systems for single cups.

Or a kuerig that can use those refillable cages.

You can with the reusable cup! My only complaint is that when making a single cup, your choices are 8 or 10 ozs. So, we also bought the larger cup that can make my mug size pots…overall, I’m really happy with mine, especially as I can avoid the ridiculous price of KCups. ❤️

Just so y’all know, I have coffee with 1.75x more caffeine…

We’re running low on coffee. My wife just made me a mask so I can go shopping tomorrow. Gloves and hand sanitizer also at the ready. 6:00 a.m. and I’m there!

Might as well see what else you will need. I was shocked that they were out of vegetable and canola oil, lol! I did my big shopping and hopefully will be good for another month. Will just need milk once in a while and some fresh vegetables.

I might be running into a moral dilemma before too long but it isn’t about having enough coffee. I try to always buy BOGO. Coffee filters like the kind I use in my faithful Mr. Coffee have been recommended to be put into the DIY cloth masks to boost the efficiency! So do I risk running out of filters by using them inside the pocket of a mask or do I brew coffee? I think I know what will be said since the answer always is coffee! Besides I always have the French Press and don’t have any cloth masks yet.

Thanks! @Convert3 I’ll have to check that out. I think that we had something similar to that but it got lost, misplaced, thrown out or “appropriated” during one of our PCS moves. Never got replaced because the Mr. preferred using the paper filters. He thought paper filters made a stronger brewed coffee. I also recall the coffee grinds spilling out over the basket possibly due to operator error. (Over filling to get a stronger brew.) Ours wasn’t a metal mesh however, more like very fine mesh fabric screen. Maybe permanent filters have been improved as that was many, many years ago. It certainly would save money. I haven’t started any topics on CAF yet because I am still learning all the ins and outs of this forum but a thread about epic fails during PCS or civilian moves might be interesting. Such as how does a moving company loose a full sized washer and dryer?! At least that was replaceable, somethings that we never saw again weren’t.

I couldn’t today, for reasons I don’t want to get into. Let’s just say, that I slept throughout a good chunk of the day. When I went for a walk, I stayed in my yard so I can be near a bathroom.

Sorry to hear you were sick. Hopefully tomorrow you feel better and can drink coffee. :coffee:

Hey y’all, I don’t think I’m having the same problem I was yesterday, because how would I? There’s nothing left. But just in case, I’m going to take some medication and take a bath and afterwards I’m going to make some coffee.
