It is the human mind fashioned in the image of God, inspired in part by the world around them and the constant seeking to better the current circumstances. I’ve never denied God’s part in creation in this way. Ali Nuri might have inspired many though when world attributes all of the modern movements for political union or technological innovation directly to Ali Nuri I question that idea. Like I would question the idea that all good morals came from the bible, since it’s just not true.
Necessity is the Mother of invention, not Ali Nuri .🙂

You just gave proof to one of the Signs of the new Revelation, this knowledge explosion was brought about by the new Revelation. The old world was rolled up a new one rolls out in its stead.

It has been said before and it is more than a coincidence that the Communication explosion started with the Declaration of the Bab at 2hrs ans 11 minutes after sunset on May the 23rd 1844.

That same day saw the birth of Abul’baha and in the west just as lightening flashes from the East to the West, the first telegraph message was sent paving the way to our modern communications. The message chosen from the book of Numbers

“WHAT HAS GOD WROUGHT”****

Coincidence? :extrahappy: americaslibrary.gov/jb/reform/jb_reform_morsecod_1.html

The weakness is all of our making.

God bless all Regards Tony
I still see don’t see how the revelation of Baha’u’llah brought about world communications and current technology because of the birth of Abul’baha and a declaration of the Bab?

Since the Baha’i are claiming this… you do realize how much evil and deceit are in the technology and communication world?

The churches don’t want unity between themselves. Otherwise why not one religion under Christ?

The verse I quoted clearly says God will judge us on that Day which is now and we shall receive our just rewards that’s all. Not to judge each other or exalt one of the other but that’s not how it’s been over the centuries. Christianity has had wars amongst themselves splitting into sects and now the judgement day has come and it’s not one fold and one Shephered but many folds and many shepherds and it cannot unite humanity as it can’t unite itself.

And that is its reward. It is not given the blessing of uniting humanity because it did not love each other and keep unity between themselves. Doctrine should never have split Christianity. Their love for Jesus should have been strong enough to keep them together but it wasn’t and now a divided Christianity cannot unite the world.

That’s unfortunately the situation on the ground.** If you cannot unite yourselves how are you going to unite the world???**
I ask you kindly and will Continue to do so to complete Paul’s exhortation.

Second as a courtesy reply my sharing of John Paul II encyclical when he says:

“By her relationship with Christ, the Church is a kind of sacrament or sign and means of intimate union with God, and of the unity of all mankind"34, and the source of this is he, he himself, he the Redeemer.”

Please cooperate.

Ok Servant 19… where does the soul go to after death ?
First of all, there two concepts to establish.
  1. The human soul is not some material PART of the body. The soul resides in a spiritual existence and the human body resides in a physical existence. They are connected somehow through the human mind and human consciousness in some mysterious fashion, which Baha’u’llah talks about, but that’s for later.
Science is now pretty much confirming for sure that human consciousness is somewhere EXTERNAL to the physical body.
Please read the work of Dr.Sam Parnia about this.
  1. Just as Jesus opened up the gates of heaven with His arrival, Baha’u’llah has removed physical death as being a consequence of sin. He in fact has made death a Messenger of Joy. That doesn’t mean we should all commit suicide, suicide is forbidden without question. We live our natural life, and when it’s our time to go, we face it with joy and faith, for in our faith in Baha’u’llah the doors of hell have been closed:
Well is it with him that hath drunk from these springs, and washed in their waters, for God hath forbidden the fire of hell to touch him and his body on the Day of Resurrection."
– Bahá’u’lláh, Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p.180
…now that these two points have been established, read this:

More from John Paul II:

The divine dimension of the mystery of the Redemption

As we reflect again on this stupendous text from the Council’s teaching, we do not forget even for a moment that Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, become our reconciliation with the Father48. He it was, and he alone, who satisfied the Father’s eternal love, that fatherhood that from the beginning found expression in creating the world, giving man all the riches of creation, and making him "little less than God"49, in that he was created “in the image and after the likeness of God”.50. He and he alone also satisfied that fatherhood of God and that love which man in a way rejected by breaking the first Covenant51 and the later covenants that God "again and again offered to man"52. The redemption of the world-this tremendous mystery of love in which creation is renewed-53 is, at its deepest root, the fullness of justice in a human Heart-the Heart of the First-born Son-in order that it may become justice in the hearts of many human beings, predestined from eternity in the Firstborn Son to be children of God54 and called to grace, called to love. The Cross on Calvary, through which Jesus Christ-a Man, the Son of the Virgin Mary, thought to be the son of Joseph of Nazareth-“leaves” this world, is also a fresh manifestation of the eternal fatherhood of God, who in him draws near again to humanity, to each human being, giving him the thrice holy "Spirit of truth"55.

This revelation of the Father and outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which stamp an indelible seal on the mystery of the Redemption, explain the meaning of the Cross and death of Christ. The God of creation is revealed as the God of redemption, as the God who is "faithful to himself"56, and faithful to his love for man and the world, which he revealed on the day of creation. His is a love that does not draw back before anything that justice requires in him. Therefore "for our sake (God) made him (the Son) to be sin who knew no sin"57. If he “made to be sin” him who was without any sin whatever, it was to reveal the love that is always greater than the whole of creation, the love that is he himself, since "God is love"58. Above all, love is greater than sin, than weakness, than the "futility of creation"59, it is stronger than death; it is a love always ready to raise up and forgive, always ready to go to meet the prodigal son60, always looking for "the revealing of the sons of God"61, who are called to the glory that is to be revealed"62. This revelation of love is also described as mercy63; and in man’s history this revelation of love and mercy has taken a form and a name: that of Jesus Christ.

If we believe that the bad fruit of Ali Nuri was that he is misleading people away from church teaching, and that he was a tool of Satan and a wolf in sheep’s clothing… how could you prove us wrong ?
A bad tree CANNOT produce good fruit Techno…

What is the FRUIT?

What fruit did Jim Jones produce? Nothing nada zilch. Bad tree

Compare that to Baha’u’llah.

The Bible does not say a bad tree cannot produce a few good fruit and a few bad fruit.

In fact, I would say that the Baha’i religion has produced the least bad fruit in religious history.

That’s your proof that you’re wrong…

Martin you need to prove that Jesus ALONE satisfied the Fathers eternal love.

That is an absolutist comment made for dividing Gods creation.

Lacks understanding of the meaning of the Eternal Logos.

If what I believe has nothing to do with your unity then what does your unity stand for? Does it take into consideration the commandments? Love the lord your God with all your heart? Since it has nothing to do with your unity my responce to that commandment and likewise the other which says do not worship other gods, then your unity is merely a secular unity and at it’s heart is no different from the unity which which atheists and secularists and even some religious folks want. They want to simply live in peace and harmony too, but is that the unity of God? Is that a unity which glorifies God? Nope, that’s a unity which tolerates ungodly things for the sake of peace.

My point regarding the trinity was not that we were created by God. I never argued that point, only that Bahai cannot reasonably argue that we worship the Same God, that Christians are to be reprimanded for attributing deity to that that which is not deity. Again, clarification, not the in the vague lesser sense of your application of the name god to manifestations but to the One God. If that is the unity that Bahai want to envision for the world, it is not a unity that is any different than the unity we see already. Most of us admit we all human and in that way we are unified, even if we want to kill each other sometimes. That’s not a new idea nor is it particularly special.
ThIs link explains a lot about unity and the oneness of humanity and how we can accomplish it.

Tony, would you wish God would bless a man that he fall into a hole and die? If not, why wish for something you consider utterly false to be blessed by God? It wasn’t just me you wished to be blessed but my choice. My illicit choice (in your world view) that is wrong. It’s like wishing a man to be blessed in his choice to sleep with a prostitute. It wouldn’t make sense.
God blesses every soul with what they need to Love and Know God. Every moment of your life is a God given choice, choices bring growth or consequences. Consequences lead back to choice.

Whatever decision you make will lead you to God. Many Paths. Reward and Punishment both from God.

The best prayer for anyone is may Gods Will be done for them. I give you that prayer, it is my hearts desire for you.

Regards Tony

Theres good and bad in the teachings of Baha’u’llah?
No there’s good and bad in how human beings utilise the gifts and bounties of God Jimmy.

Technology and all advancement are gifts from God. Human beings can use it for good or for evil.

A simple tree can be used for good and benefit of humanity, or it can be used to build weapons of torture. Human beings have free will. God will never remove our free will, but what God does do is guide us, on how to apply the Spirit of the Age to those bounties and gifts to enable us to use these things for good, not evil.

Sure as a courtesy. No problem. More than happy.

1CO4.6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. 1CO4.7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? 1CO4.8 Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you. 1CO4.9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. 1CO4.10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. 1CO4.11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; 1CO4.12 And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: 1CO4.13 Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. 1CO4.14 I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. 1CO4.15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 1CO4.16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. 1CO4.17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. 1CO4.18 Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. 1CO4.19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. 1CO4.20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. 1CO4.21 What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

“By her relationship with Christ, the Church is a kind of sacrament or sign and means of intimate union with God, and of the unity of all mankind"34, and the source of this is he, he himself, he the Redeemer.”

My only comment is to echo what Baha’u’llah has said to the churches. You decide for yourself if that means Christ still protects and watches over the church or not. Baha’u’llah states that both the church and Christians call upon Christ but know Him not.

“READ ye the Evangel and yet refuse to acknowledge the All-Glorious Lord? This indeed beseemeth you not”

“O CONCOURSE of bishops! Ye are the stars of the heaven of My knowledge. My mercy desireth not that ye should fall upon the earth. My justice, however, declareth: ‘This is that which the Son (Jesus) hath decreed.’ And whatsoever hath proceeded out of His blameless, His truth-speaking, trustworthy mouth, can never be altered”

“The stars of the heaven of knowledge have fallen, they that adduce the proofs they possess in order to demonstrate the truth of My Cause, and who make mention of God in My name. When I came unto them, in My majesty, however, they turned aside from Me. They, verily, are of the fallen.

“O CONCOURSE of archbishops! He Who is the Lord of all men hath appeared. In the plain of guidance He calleth mankind, whilst ye are numbered with the dead”

“O CONCOURSE of Christians!”

“Ye make mention of Me, and know Me not. Ye call upon Me, and are heedless of My Revelation… O people of the Gospel! They who were not in the Kingdom have now entered it, whilst We behold you, in this day, tarrying at the gate”

It is only “by divine grace through Jesus Christ” that we are enabled to do good works at all.

This sort of response which doesn’t actually take my criticism of you “blessing” my choice is what turns me off about Bahai. You have had to frame it differently in order to divert attention from what you originally said. Let me ask you clearly, do you think God blesses my choice of firmly dividing between Christianity and Non Christianity? Firmly declaring there is no real union between the non Christian and the Christian? I don’t think you do.

Can people of other faiths enter this heaven of the Baha’i?
Yes

Jimmy especially for you from Abdul-Baha… You can say that the Baha’i ‘heaven’ is like a beautiful garden… Where are you??

“At the gate of the garden,
some stand and look within, but do not care to enter.
Others step inside, behold its beauty, but do not penetrate far.
Still others encircle this garden, inhaling the fragrance of the flowers;
and having enjoyed its full beauty, pass out again by the same gate.
But there are always some who enter,
and becoming intoxicated with the splendor of what they behold,
remain for life to tend the garden”

(Abdul-Baha)
