Bump for Elwill & other muslim members…
Elwill you claim the incorrupt nature of the Quran, what is your opinion on the Sana’a manuscripts?

For those who are unaware this is the oldest known remnants of a Quran dated 7th/8th century found in an upstairs room in the Sana’a Mosque in Yemen in 1972. The texts are said to be very different from those in today’s Quran.

Actually I am wrong I believe they surpassed the CC.

In order for a culture to maintain itself it must have a fertlity of 2;11.

In Europe combined is 1.38. Yet the population is not declining. 90% is Islamic.

Predicted in 39 years from now France will be Islamc.

In Canada fertility is 1.6
Islam 2.11
Again Canada increased by immigration.

In 1970 there were 100.000 Muslims Today 9 million. (Thats here)

The only thing that is keeping us in the game is immigration of Latino.

It is predicted that in 2025 all European countries will be Muslim.

Muslims are planning as we speak on evangelizing our country.

Muslims are planning as we speak on evangelizing our country.
yes we all are part of that plan…we get instructions every month…you have no idea:shrug::rolleyes:

well its not our fault that muslim families are good families with healthy values

its not our fault that christian families are getting apart, its not our fault that you guys love more your dogs and cats then your children, partners, that homosexuality is more acceptable then a traditional family…not our fault that you get divorced for every litle thing:D

😉

Bingo!! That is my point. Just like we can show by the word of God that JS was wrong, we can show that Muhammad is.

It is by them getting the chance to really read the bible that the truth will be revealed to them from the WORD, Then when they can see that alot of what was taught by Muhammad does come from the WORD MADE FLESH, it will happen.

You have to look to the future, and you will see how it is going to come down. The largest Church and Religion to date is the Catholic Religion. But Muslim is really getting very close to our numbers. They are closing in on us fast! They are immigrating over in record numbers. That have pretty much taken over

Now here is what I see, It is going to come down to the Christians and the Muslims. Quite simple. Now ironically what divided the Catholic’s and the Protestants? Simple the Bible. Not the truth of the bible, but the understanding of scripture.

Now you will never have a Christian deny Jesus as the Christ. You have a better chance of bringing a Protestant back to the RCC then you could to the Muslim faith.

So by the record numbers now, its going to, I believe come down to the Catholic Church and the Muslims. I believe that all of the Protestant Church’s will come back to the CC. I always have, always will. I truly do not believe that any true Christian would every deny Jesus. So I feel it will be Muslim that will RE-UNITE US FIRST. Then its going to come down to US and THEM.

And then you go back to the TRUTH. The bible states too much Truth that they do believe that they cannot deny.

Think about it. They believe in the Blessed Mother!! I still believe that it will be her the MOTHER CHURCH the CC that will unite ALL to her Son.

But hey thats just Me. 😃
I hesitate to be a fortune teller but I agree with your points in principle. All the reasons for the original Protestant/RC split are gone. Only pride and family tradition keep them separate anymore. And the similarities between Islam and Christianity are too big to ignore. And yes, the Virgin Mary is a a potential bridge. (Literally, the Koran says more about Mary than the NT does.)

I’ll answer Byzantine Wolf’s old question now as an example of how this unity could work out. On page 10, post 143, he cited some irksome Koran verses. As I said previously, when the Bible talks about such-and-such 27 times, we know to lump all 27 verses together, and interpret them as a holistic unity. We should do the same with the Koran. Sura 5:116-117 goes with 5:73 and 5:75 and makes them a whole lot better. Those two later verses are the context that explain verse 73 on the trinity (Mohammad was speaking against a patently heretical and false trinity) and verse 75 (hey, we Christians say that Jesus always only points to his Father).

Sura 4:171 is resolved the same way.

Sura 5:69 affirms the truth of Christianity. So does 4:159. So does 5:46. We need to use these verses more often. Mohammad can’t possibly be affirming Christianity while simultaneously declaring it heretical. That would be a contradiction, and Moslems are adamant that the Koran contains no contradictions. Ergo, if there are no contradictions, then it must be possible to resolve the troublesome verses from within the Koran.

And having done that we’re back to your idea that someday the two religions will unite. 🙂

Hold on there Bosnian, When did the RCC ever teach any of this. While I agree that yes we are to blame for our own destruction, We still have one thing that you seem to forget about. THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. And Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior promised us the Gates of Hades will never prevail. Those are the words of the Gospel. The Gospel your own Muhammad told you is true.

Not all Christian Families are getting apart, and love their dogs and cats more then our Children. We still have values.

And while I will not defend our sins, because that is something Christians do not do is defend sin, we will REPENT and ask God for forgiveness. We will admit our sin and pray for Gods Grace to become one with him once more.

But just because we have our problems there is one thing you don’t realize. We will stick together for our Jesus. We will not deny him.

I agree with you yes we have alot of work to do. But it can be done. We KNOW that we are to not commit adultery. We KNOW that we are to put God First. And we do KNOW the True WORD OF GOD. We just need to start living it again.

We KNOW SALVATION is through JESUS CHRIST!! We have a very forgiving God. Just because we have our sins, and we have no excuse, does not mean we do not know the Truth. The Truth that was revealed to us in the Gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

And I do not see where we have ever blamed Islam for our sins. All I ever said is that granted because of our sins we will suffer. But as we suffer we will still never follow your Muhammad. We will go back to Jesus for help. And he will DELIVER US FROM EVIL, NOW AND AT THE HOUR OF OUR DEATH AMEN.

Elwill and Bosnian_muslim, how do you comment the following quotes from the Biblie:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

or what about this: Jesus said in John 8:12, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

or maybe this: John 6:35, And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

** “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.**
**
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”**

Which prophet spoke in this way about himself?
What about John the Baptist when Jesus came to him to be baptised by him. What about what happend after?

If God wanted to send more prophets and 3 books ( which doesn’t make sense) normally all should be connecnted and the next one should not contradict the previous one with anything, the contrary.
Just compare Jesus and Mohammed. What are the similarities between them?> I can’;t find one!

Which were the last words of your prophet? As far as i know he cursed chirstians and jews. What did Jesus do on the cross?

It is so obvious where the truth is…

Moreover: a real religion is proven in time. How many saints do we have?

How many saints has islam?

A little help:

Sura 3:44-55 affirms that Jesus was the Messiah, that he was conceived in Mary’s virgin womb by the power of God, that he preached the Torah and the Gospel on the authority of God his Father, that he was taken alive into heaven by God, and that his followers will go to heaven.

Sura 4:159-162 affirms that we are supposed to believe in Jesus.

Sura 5:46-47 and 5:68-69 specificlly affirms the Torah and the Gospel of Jesus, and affirms Christianity in general.

In Sura 19:33-34 Jesus predicts his own resurrection from the dead. In that passage Jesus is an infant miraculously speaking through the spirit of Allah/God, so it is really God who is talking.

And somewhere the Koran says that Jesus will be the judge at “Judgement Day.”
If God wanted to send more prophets and 3 books ( which doesn’t make sense) normally all should be connecnted and the next one should not contradict the previous one with anything, the contrary.
I don’t know what 3 books you mean, but the Koran’s own test is consistency of message. **That means that Moslems have a God-given duty to reconcile their Koran with legitimate Christianity. If they don’t, then they have stepped out of bounds. **

**
And somewhere the Koran says that Jesus will be the judge at “Judgement Day.”**
No, it’s not in the koran, but a hadith:

The hadith states that:

Isa will return and destroy Christianity
Isa will break the Cross
Isa will kill the swine
Isa will do away with the “tax”
Isa will fight the anti-christ
Isa will make islam the only religion on the globe
Isa will get married
Isa will live on the earth for 40 years & then die

Isa is **NOT our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ **but islams version.

And for the LOVE OF GOD - why Isa …if he is nothing but a lesser prophet than mohamad is under islam.

It’s all messed up.

No, it’s not in the koran, but a hadith
Sura 4:159 and 16:89. Chronologically chapter 16 precedes chapter 4. (I get my chronological ordering from submission.org)

By the Koran’s own testimony Jesus is a superior prophet to Mohammad:
  1. Jesus was conceived in and born to a virgin, and this by the power of the word of God. Mohammad was conceived the normal way in a normal woman.
  2. God spoke through Jesus directly. Mohammad received his revelations through a courier (an angel).
  3. Jesus performed various miracles. Mohammad’s only miracle was the Koran, except that he was’t the author of the Koran it doesn’t even count.
  4. Jesus isn’t dead. Jesus was bodily taken into heaven very much alive, and he stands next to God. Mohammad died and is waiting for the day of resurrection.
  5. On Judgement Day Jesus will be a judge. Mohammad will not be a judge.
  6. And there might be something else that I’m forgetting.

Ergo, if there are no contradictions, then it must be possible to resolve the troublesome verses from within the Koran.

And having done that we’re back to your idea that someday the two religions will unite. 🙂
We can probably argue this ad infinitum (or however you spell that), but to briefly change topics and tone: I consider Muslims, individually, as human beings, and I do think there is some truth in the Quran (in terms of C.S. Lewis’s remark about how Christians differ from atheists in that while an atheist believes all religions to be lies, Christianity believes all religions to have some sampling of truth).

I don’t know if I would say that “the two religions will unite.” Islam stems from the teachings of a false prophet who blasphemed our Lord - however, I would love to see every Muslim come to Christ. I recognize also, however, that while God shows mercy on whom He wills, He also hardens whom He wills (Rom 9:18). But, many will come to Christ and bow their knee to Him, having formerly bowed their knee to a black cube in Mecca. Any former Muslim who comes to a knowledge of the truth in the cross I welcome as a brother or sister in Christ. Amen.

Isa is NOT our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ but islams version.
Clearly not Jesus of Nazareth.
I also want to say that whenever I think of a place in which everyone believes exactly the same things and adheres to the same culture and religion, that place resembles hell more than any I have ever encountered on earth.

This poster is shockingly unaware of the atrocities in muslim society. . . recall any recent stoning, nose cutting, wife beating, etc. ? Muslim societies are better at hiding these atrocities, not being open to free media like the west.

bump for what 🙂

many information are said through people

who said that ?
how is it differs ?
where is the sources ? where is the eveidences

i didn’t answer to him actually because of his weak response not because i have no answers as you think

Elwill and Bosnian_muslim, how do you comment the following quotes from the Biblie:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

i* can consider every prophet from God to be the way , the truth and the life . and no one comes to the father exept through those prophets
the way : of guidence
the truth : what he informs about himself, God and hearafter
the life : the eternal life in paradise if you believed
no one comes to the father except by following the footsteps of their prophets*

or what about this: Jesus said in John 8:12, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

light of wisdom , knowldge and guidence
every prophet came to their people to get them out from darkness to the light , darkness of disbeliefs and misguidence to the light of truth and true guidence

or maybe this: John 6:35, And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

same meaning , in paradise their is no hunger nor thrist

** “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.**
**
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”**
we have to remember that Jesus used to talk figuratively. But then when he talked plainly with his disciples he made it clear that he was sent FROM God and that he did not say that he WAS God.

John 16:25-33

25"Though I have been speaking figuratively (paroimia), a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. 26In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf. 27No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. 28I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father."
Code:
29Then Jesus' disciples said, "Now you are speaking clearly and without figures of speech. 30Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. **This makes us believe that you came from God." **

31"**You believe at last!"** Jesus answered****. 32"But a time is coming, and has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.

33"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

I disagree. No prophet can be the way, the truth and the life. Only GOD, the great I AM is the only ONE who can say this.
A messenger who has a mission from GOD can lead people to the rightr path, can lead them to the light, can show them the way for eternity, but nothing else, while only GOD can say He is the way, the truth and the life. Who gives life, a prophet? Life= GOD, He is the creator, nobody else.

So, this interpretation is much forced, in my opinion.

Only GOD is the beggining and the end. Do you know any prophet to use such words?>
I just gave u example about John the Baptist. What was his reaction when he saw Christ? What did he say? Didn’t he prepare his way? Or a prophet prepares the way for another propohet?

What did Jesus answer to Pillatus when he asked him about what was said , that he is a king. What did Jeus answer? That HIS kingdom is not from this world!!! Which prophet has a kingdom?

How many miracles did Jesus perform? How many did he kill?
How many poeple did Mohammed kill? How many wifes did he have?> What did he do with the wifes of nonbelievers?
Come on, there is absolutly nothing in common. We are talking about 2 extrems.

Aha, so Jesus will be the judge. More than strange, considering that muslem mention only Mohammed, even in their own creed. They say there is only one GOD and Mohammed is HIS messsenger. Under these circumstances how come exactly Jesus, just a prohet according to them will judge? Isn’t this God’s job?

In your oppinion how did Coran appear, who wrote it? Or, do you believe it has divine sourse?

Dear Bosnianmuslim, In the Holy Bible there is a verse which you may have read, anyway here it is
Matthew 7:3-5
3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

You may not be reading much news of arab world the head centre for islam, but try to go onlline and read, and also read of incidents taking place in madina and Makka, than pass your coments. as yo have done above.

God Bless
