I agree. 100%. A man who sets his sights on the throne of God Himself is unlikely to prove a worthy opponent to a Christian, however flawed, in a direct contest. You cannot choose your own truth.

No sir, this is the example of arrogance against the teachings of Mother Church Fr. talked about in his response. The truth is there, but for ideology and party you choose to ignore it.You’re the one portraying Catholic doctrine in a way that suits your politics. And where have I accused you of not showing Catholic decency? I simply remarked on the pontiff’s response and how it should be an example of behavior for us.
Voting for Obama is a vote for all of these and more. Cannot seperate issue form the candidate.Sad that you would accuse me falsely. I voted for none of those things.
Mother Church and I are just cool, but thank you for asking. No sir, this is the example of arrogance against the teachings of Mother Church Fr. talked about in his response. The truth is there, but for ideology and party you choose to ignore it.
You can’t, I can. The Church obviously does too or it wouldn’t say it was possible.Voting for Obama is a vote for all of these and more. Cannot seperate issue form the candidate.
Come to think of it, so is idolatory, no? (be that false god self or Mammon).Worth the read:

There were two candidates that were viable in the general, one a prove abortion on demand supporter, the other stood on limiting abortion and not in favor of any other IEs. Supporting Romney over Obama, according to Church teachings was the right choice for a Catholic with a fully and properly formed conscience.I’m referring to the stance Romney held in the primaries - not to which candidate you supported in the primaries.
We’re back to that, are we? Did you actually listen to the last few comments Romney made on abortion? I LISTEN to people. I don’t project my personal views onto them because I so oppose their opponent. There were two candidates that were viable in the general, one a prove abortion on demand supporter, the other stood on limiting abortion and not in favor of any other IEs. Party and ideology that important I see. Sad, I’m done. May God bless you as you seek. You can’t, I can. The Church obviously does too or it wouldn’t say it was possible.
Party and ideology? Read my posts on this forum. I have only the minimal respect for ideology. I believe in taking stock of REALITY and acting in the way that seems best. Canned ideas do not appeal to me - fresh produce is always best.Party and ideology that important I see. Sad, I’m done. May God bless you as you seek.![]()
Nothing. So why keep arguing unless it’s an ego thing.Me? Surely you jest!
What do I have to be angry about?
Adultery does not compare to Abortion, Adultery does not take an innocent life.Worth the read:

You still haven’t said why you asked me this. Obviously I have “Catholic” as my religion, so is it because I don’t agree with you?Really? Tell me, are you Catholic? Just asking.
I find it to be a large double standard/hypocrisy people have on this board.I agree Romney lied and Obama didn’t, every time Obama has in word, deed, and action supported murder on demand, I believe him.
Just for your info, I did not support Romney as much as I opposed the abortion supporter. And also, please fill us in on the particular things Romney lied about. I would say both sides have a bucket full of untruths and/or half truths. So to call one side untruthful and not the other is not credible.
His “tax the wealthy” approach is very divisive. I don’t know what emails you’re referring to. As to the recent film, I guess you mean “2016”. The film extensively quotes Obama from his autobiography. How can you argue with words written by Obama himself?Strange, the divisiveness I see is aimed at him rather than caused by him: beginning with the birthers and through to those who circulate emails with claims that belong in the trash. Then there was the recent film, followed by a DVD…That’s not the president doing or tolerating all this - that’s us.
Agreed!I think the left has always been better than the right in America when it comes to politics, and I think it comes naturally. If you have an ideology in which you believe the political process and political goals/govt. programs are the ultimate end, you will organize better, fight harder and do whatever is needed to ensure victory. Can you imagine a right wing community organizer? Neither can I. Look at the right - it consists of politicians to be sure, but often it consists of people who were in the private sector. running businesses, etc. but who are not professional politicians. I think this reality was a factor in the election.

How do protestants argue with Catholics over the same Bible? His “tax the wealthy” approach is very divisive. I don’t know what emails you’re referring to. I already responded, maybe you missed it. In the hierarchy of sins I was taught, ‘whining’ does not outrank lying. Just wondering if you were taught the same. You still haven’t said why you asked me this. Obviously I have “Catholic” as my religion, so is it because I don’t agree with you?
You seem like a reasonable person…why would you ask this?
