Yes, confusion. One can’t have two separate groups elbowing in. I am sure that once WHO has established good report they will be dialoging with those who they feel are appropriate.
Lets hope that international doctrinal bias does not factor into this decision making.
CDC do have a centre China with 3 US staff and 11 Chinese staff, they have assisted China with setting up pandemic influenza preparedness in China.
