Wow thats hard but i know because i have been there only i was a child and my poor mother had alot to deal with.
Alot of it might be the drinking because we all know what happens
when people drink to much.
I know you cant make him stop drinking.
So say O come holy spirit fill his heart with love for his family and life.
Say this all the time or even just holy spirit come and help me amen
Then say 7 glory be’s and askSt Joseph to intercede.
And make sure your kids pray also.
This way you are letting them know that you dont approve with out
putting down their dad.

BTW … it’s been a while. I’ve missed everyone. You’re right we woman do have to stick together, especially with todays culture and the attack on everything we hold dear! This is WAR! Our weapons are prayer and works! I have heard of a men’s group that fasts the first Wed. of every month for the intentions of their wives. Perhaps we could do something like that and fast for our families and the intentions of the group.?

I would strongly recommend the book “Boundaries in Marriage” by Dr Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. It is a Christian book that provides wonderful guidance. Since you can’t control your partner, it is from the perspect of what you can do to keep your life in order and influence him.
