Other odd things he has done: crying on live TV, asking Cruz to raise his right hand and do a mock swearing in as president in front of live audience, saying on live radio that if he could get close to trump the stabbing just wouldn’t stop.
And yet he goes everywhere campaigning for Cruz. Nobody asks Cruz to disavow him.

I heard the clip. Looking at the video, it looked to me like he was threatening his producer (though smiling, so it was a joke. I think this claim against Glen Beck has little merit, but here is the video.

I do not think the Secret Service will be arresting him.
I see the more disturbing problem being his opinion that God wants Cruz and Trump supporters are defying God.

Cruz is not Beck; and…
No matter what one’s personal opinion of Glenn Beck may be, some of his successes are amazing. Still, he’s not on my list of folks to listen to. To me, Beck has hurt his own name with his antics but not Cruz’s. And when about 6 weeks ago, Beck was talking about fasting for the Cruz campaign, I didn’t think that was all that bad of an idea.

Cruz seems to be trying to out radical Trump, which is not a great strategy in my book. Talking about “securing” Muslim neighborhoods, hiring Frank Gaffney, his advisor praising McCarthy and suggesting we have a McCarthy-like effort against Muslims – all seem calculated to prove he can be just as “out there” as Trump. I would not have thought my opinion of him could sink lower, but it is.

Also his statement “It is striking, on the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO, withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamic terrorist attack.” seems a bit like demagoguery. Hopefully he will clarify that as well.

I saw an interview with Cruz on The Kelly File and he did not rule out Rubio being VP. A Cruz-Rubio ticket would be interesting! Obviously though Cruz would have to get enough delegates to become the Republican nominee for President though.

It would neutralize any attempt to get Julian Castro on the Democratic side. But that idea on their part was reactionary to Cruz and Rubio entering the race in the first place. If people knew who Castro was, he’d carry a ton of baggage with what the Clinton camp would need to win.
In short, it’s a choice that could backfire on them greatly.
A Cruz-Rubio ticket might make the most sense. With Kasich getting so involved in this race, he’s giving the moderates and union workers in the rust belt a lot of positive PR for the GOP, so Ohio is a state they would win.
This time around, Florida is going to be the state they need to secure and then go into urban areas and campaign with precision and haste to sell their ideas to a depressed Democrat base.
With Cruz and Rubio, all of this frontunner nonsense goes down the drain and the Democrats are suddenly stuck with 3 months to figure out how they beat a minority ticket with their weakest field since 1992.

It would be risky for the left to go after Cruz. They did that to Herman Cain and even Juan Williams was raising his eyebrows.
Remember, the DNC needed 70% of Hispanics just to get Obama/Biden across the finish line.

Well, he got the diary price prediction and caliphate prediction correct. He was laughed at then, but now there were terrorists party of that Caliphate who struck again in Belgium. And milk is often part of coupon deals at grocery stores, I guess to sell it off in time?
At the end of the day, he’s a commentator. Ted Cruz’s principles are solid either way and aren’t directly related to what Beck may or may not do.

I saw Cruz on some show discussing that about a Cruz Rubio ticket, that would be far off to contemplate… however, I don’t think anyone mentioned, it seemed it was being looked at as a maneuver to try currently, like announce it now or soon. We will see, I appreciated Super’s analysis above.

Candidates aren’t supposed to coordinate with SuperPACs.
Regardless, this campaign for me is about the five non-negotiables and religious liberty. The only interest I have in the other stuff is electability because it seems so terribly important to a lot of others, unfortunately.
