There you go add about a gallon of that to the coffee and no one will care about rest of the ingredients. šŸ¤Æ

The city where I used to live had to post signs to keep people from feeding bread to the ducks. Apparently it can lead to constipation
Thatā€™s why here in L.A. we feed them whole grain, whole wheat, double fiber bread. None of that binding Wonder Bread for our regular ducks šŸš½

Sooooā€¦ youā€™ve got, what? Whole flocks of SJW waterfowl? Ducks, geese, and swans united? Or are the groups claiming to welcome all waterfowl but seem to focus on ducks? Iā€™m sorry, but that sounds just SO very SOCAL. (Southern California.)

BTW, the punishment of ā€œbread and waterā€ WASNā€™T to slowly starve the prisoner. Itā€™s because a diet that is ONLY bread and water ā€œbinds you upā€ as the old Germans in my hometown would say.

Yes, our waterfowl pride themselves on their diversity. Just this morning, down at the lagoon, I observed: 1) a sandpiper, 2) a long-billed curlew, 3) a snowy egret, and 4) a bunch of old coots (like myself šŸ˜ ), all living in harmony, as should we all.

No good, dad-blasted Californian hippie. šŸ˜

Thatā€™s the problem with this thread. Itā€™s turned into a bunch of chummy egrets and swallow tailsā€¦ something. šŸ˜  Happily drinking pond water. I donā€™t like it.

But donā€™t you see? Anger and divisiveness are winning right now. Youā€™ve got the power. Peace-loving hippies are currently the only rightful curmudgeons šŸ˜ ā˜®ļøšŸ˜ .

Yā€™all are expressing both sides of the Curmudgeon. Howsumever, ya forgot the most important SoCal waterfowl: the Pelican. Diversity? HAH. Ya caint have diversity without Pelicans. Seagulls? Pshaw! Yā€™all need them thar Pelicans.

We got them. As my father loved to say, ā€œWhat a wonderful bird the pelican. His beak can hold more than his belly-can!ā€

šŸ˜† liking (loving!) all these posts ! I woke up and had only about 10 likes in my wallet to spend.

Hey, crows donā€™t count. Those obnoxious things are the spawn of Old Hairy Legs.

A lot of my artwork includes brightly colored, tropical birdsā€¦ after seeing that one pic, rather tempted to do a small painting of a bird with arms just to mix things up a little.

ā€¦ a birdā€¦ flying out of a brilliant and lovely field. With a Superman power fist and a purse.

At the present time all we have are Canadian geese that decided our subdivision retention ponds make it better to hang out here and poop all over the ground than fly South as they used to. For some reason they are protected, even the eggs. I think we should have them for dinner, and not as guests.šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

Yum. Fresh roast goose. Better watch out though, thereā€™s a thread going where if you harm fish bait youā€™re sinning. It oozed to boiling lobsters. That is a short hop to roasting a goose.

Next thing you know, youā€™ll be accidentally peeing on a goose in a Target toilet. BECAUSE THEYRE ALLOWED šŸ˜  but I actually like geese. If I found a goose in a Target toilet, Iā€™d clean it up, tuck it under my arm and take it home with me as a pet. I mean, if it was kind and it didnā€™t hurt me. Iā€™ve heard theyā€™re very kind. We used to live near a lake, and every day, Iā€™d see this odd grouping of a duck, a goose, and something elseā€¦ I donā€™t remember. Anyhow. ?

Apparently youā€™ve never been chased by a goose. They can get quite nasty when they want to be.
