No worries, mate ☺️

I’m sure Gert will start correcting you much more once your relationship is more firmly established.

Thanks, Dude!

I had a feeling that I should look it up, instead of relying on memory.

I thank Gert for leaving her teacher’s red-marker aside with this one. Or, maybe, state abbreviations aren’t considered important in US schools anymore 😡
State markers may change. CA is still debating whether to build a wall between CA and MX or between CA and AZ.

My money is on a wall between CA and AZ. CA will declare independence (the Republic of California!). Within 5 years it will go bankrupt, but rather than return to the US, they will allow the Chinese to effectively take over, giving China a foothold on the American continent.

I was hoping to make you squirm in anticipation of my red marker.

But you’re too much like the little darlings who turn their mistakes into some snide remark.

Hmph. 👵🚬

Of course, on the other hand, I am somewhat offended that you think I might live in California rather than Colorado. 😠

I live over a mile above sea level, thank you very much.

@Christofirst and @StephieNorthCo live a few feet above sea level.

For all I know @(name removed by moderator) lives below sea level in that inland valley of his.

But here in the suburbs of the “mile high city” we are over a mile above sea level and in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. That’s right, we’re above it all here.

😂🤣😂

I’m watching the final movie of The Hunger Games series tonight. I loved the books, and the first movie was all right. I’m not convinced about this final movie (haven’t seen the two in between).

Anyway, in The Hunger Games the evil Capital is in what is currently Colorado.

Now please leave me alone. I need to go dye my hair blue or get some gold sparkles tattooed onto my cheeks.

I vote for gold sparkles AND blue hair. Occasionally I will go with a purple streak or two in my hair.

I might go for the gold sparkles. Blue hair just wouldn’t work at this phase of life; there are wayyyy too many jokes about blue-haired old ladies.😡 Although a bright blue like in this blog might work. Hmmm, I’ve worked with blue and green-hired fellow tutors, and I mean blue and green at the same time.🤣 They looked sort of like water creatures taking on human form, but I digress. I’ll have to think about this, but that sounds like work, so probably not.👵🍹

I know a couple of younger friends with hair the color of my avatar.

I tried for purple at one point. Unfortunately, keeping dark hair a strong color without damaging it is very difficult. And expensive.

My hair was once dark brown. Probably isn’t any more. Don’t know. Roots aren’t any more. Usually go with reddish auburn. It’s actually quite bright in the sun. I went blonde for a bit, but too damaging. Only once went all purple. It looked pretty nice, but really wasn’t me.

I tend to go to black. But my hair’s very dark anyway, right at the point where it could pass for black anyway.

I really hate the whole sick day culture that rewards people for not taking sick days. I have a lot more breathing problems and get hit hard if I get sick. So what happens? Other people drag themselves to work sick, I get sick and have to call out because they infected the whole office, and then they’re the model employees that never call out.

I haven’t gone gray yet. The last time my ex saw me she asked if I was dyeing my hair. I took that as a compliment in light of our culture that worships a youthful appearance.
😠

I just received this photo of @(name removed by moderator) and his kin. As you can see, they are all well and diligently working their way through Lent.

My parents stayed dark haired for a long time.I have dark hair ,there is the occassional grey hair.I tried getting tips in the States some time back ,they were purple 🙂 gradually went blonde and I didn’t mind when they were eventually grown out.I think I’ll stick to my own colour while I’ve got it.I liked my mums flick of natural grey at the front parting of her dark hair ,so I hope I inherit that where I have a ‘cow-lick’ .(and yes, I have been licked on the head by a cow in the past ,but I had the 'cow-lick ’ before that )

So that is why they call it a “cow lick” 😁

There is snow on my roof top now, but unlike many men my age I still have a full head of hair.
The wife’s hair is still her natural brunette color.

Our PE teacher came to work one day looking like death warmed over. I tattled to the principal and she sent him home. I had to take over his afternoon classes, but it was worth it to get one more sickie out of the building.
