Ah…kids, kittens and panes of glass - some smashed and some not. Been there!

Happy Easter, Curmudgeons!

Our Easter ceremonies went very well. The choir has been practicing for six weeks, and, as usual, right up to the final practices there were still glitches but somehow it all went very well in the end, particularly the Easter Vigil, which finished with a powerful rendition of Thine Be the Glory! Deo Gratias!

HE IS RISEN!

(And I’m a little bleary)

So since you are in the future would mind looking up the winning lottery numbers please? 🤣😁

Thanks!😃 I haven’t done any lotteries for Lent and you reminded me to buy a ticket 🙂

Happy Easter Everyone!

Wishing everyone and their families a most blessed and joyous Easter Season!

Sigh…

Is it already ten years since google published their revolutionary “Gday, with MATE (Machine Automated Temporal Extraction)” technology, developed in their Sydney offices, which use sophisticated algorithms and google’s web database to predict the web 24 hours in advance?

I’ll never understand why it wasn’t popular and had to be withdrawn.

Happy Easter to you as well, Greenfields! 😃

Happy and cheerful curmudgeons? 🤔 Sounds like an April Fool’s Day joke 😠

Thank you …yes christofirst, after Lent and Easter it’ll be down to business as usual 😡 😼
Make merry while you can.

Welcome back, Gov!! To get everyone back in Curmudgeonly mood, I recommend spending time in the news forum.

Coffee’s up in the other thread.

Thanks for the coffee 🙂
Seems many of us had tough Lents of a different sort than anticipated, all the more to celebrate about because we did it for Jesus and made it through.
Happy Easter ! Even though it’s Easter Monday here…sorry Stephie I refuse to look at the news 🙃 Actually I’ve tuned out of the radio and Internet news as well, and life seems a bit more normal.

Yes…

i think that we all had goals–spiritual goals probably–that we had planned for our Lenten goals that just didn’t happen.

I personally believe that God looks at our intentions and is pleased with them.

I pray for us here, and I was thinking about all of you when I prayed for you. We have each other so we’re not alone in our struggles. That comforts me when I pray, and I hope that it comforts all of you as well, because I like to think of all of us as a “family of friends” when I come here.

I like to think of us as kind of walking through this journey of faith and life together when we come together to post here.

It reinforces things for me, to see you all here. 😊 ❤️

Welcome back, @(name removed by moderator). I’m so glad to see you back here with us. You were missed! ❤️

A happy and blessed Easter to each and every one of you old grumps! 😚 💋 💋 💋

Remember that Easter lasts eight whole holy days. Go eat some chocolate or something.

Kids are actually going swimming this afternoon. I’m currently in the fetal position with a box of See’s, necessary sustenance after getting everyone cleaned and wrestled into Easter clothes while hopped up on sugar-coated rabbit mffmmhmhm. 😠

Happy Easter!😊
And what a very sweet message @oldgraymare2. God bless you 🙂 Welcome back, (name removed by moderator)! And Gertie is back as well! Where were you two? 😠

Thank you, Daisy! ❤️

I had a good laugh over the saintly icon that you posted with the Easter Bunny reference in it! LOL!! 😁

Happy Easter, to you and your family! ❤️

Enjoy your Sees candy. Yum! I can’t think of anything better to be enjoying. That box wouldn’t last long here, that’s for sure! 😉
