Still raining here. Some nice acid rain would be good in the coffee. I don’t hear much about acid rain anymore. Maybe it will make a comeback with the big resurgence in coal production :roll_eyes:.
 
Yeah, what happened to that whole acid rain alarm? I’d completely forgotten about it, maybe due to decrease in coal use? What caused acid rain in the first place? The inquiring mind wants to know. It does add some piquancy to the coffee.:coffee:
 
My daughter said she has an upset stomach from eating seafood from that particular part of the country ,
it that common? Or even a thing?
 
Seafood from Indiana? We have some nice freshwater fish, but no sea to get seafood to become ill from.
I probably misunderstood. Happens all the time.😳
Oh wait, he does live around seafood.

Yes, happy birthday, @Greenfields ! My cake icon thingy will appear next to my CAF name at the end of this month. Hooray for the March birthdays!

Concerning your daughter, did she eat sushi? I never eat the stuff 🤢, but there’s a LOT of it here in L.A. My sister and niece love it. Anyway, that might have given her an upset stomach, depending on how fresh it was (or wasn’t 😠) and how it was prepared. Hope she feels better.

Do you have any plans for your birthday celebration?

It’s not MY birthday, silly – it’s Greenfields! Or at least it was her birthday “yesterday” (which is our today).

Anyway, send her some love to see when she wakes up and checks CAF “tomorrow” (which is already her “today”).
 
I am easily confused. Now that I’m old enough, I take refuge in “senior moments”. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. :roll_eyes:👵
We have been gut-punched in our parish. An associate pastor has apparently engaged in some egregious behavior and it has made the news. Our pastor is going to address it at Sunday Mass this week. We could use some mudgie prayers for the situation.

Hey, I’ve used the senior moments ploy for the last 50 or so years. Unfortunately, it becomes more real as time progresses.
