Making a thick brew for a cold day:
Several cactus 🌵
Lots of eyes ,including dinosaur and potato(for a thick consistency,)
Dogs and cats and various other passer byers,🐈 🐩 🤡
One Mocking bird (because they sound cool)
Lots of shovelfuls of snow
Grinds of coffee that I’ve found in cracks and crevices around the coffee table,underfoot (OK,some rescued from the garbage bin 😡 ) it’s Lent alright?
Drink up.

I would hope not; didn’t notice as I was too busy going the the best Italian restaurant this side of Sicily. It was in an Italian grocery outside Phoenix that also had a carry out business and a few tables here and there amongst the imported groceries.
Apparently people steal saguaro cacti. Why, pray tell, would anyone want to thieve a cactus? What do you do with it? You can’t eat it, spend it, or carry it anywhere. There are way too many nutty thieves. We should at the very least have rational thieves.😡

Beautiful! What kind is it? We toured the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, which I was dubious about, not having any idea about how a desert could have a garden. It was mind-boggling how many kinds of desert plants there are, and the ways they have developed for desert living.
 
I don’t know what kind it is. It was my dad’s, and I’m not sure where he got it. He liked to find treasures in other people’s trash, so I’m thinking it was discarded and he brought it home. After he died, I kept watering it at my mom’s house, but then I thought it would do well on my balcony, which gets a lot of afternoon sun.
 
What is the little leaflike thing on the lower right? It looks like a locust tree frond to me. Is it really part of the cactus?
 
No 😁, the cactus shares its pot with a stowaway common fern, some kind of polystichum that many people have in their outside landscaping here.
 
I think it is possibly a previously undiscovered species, so I will call it Chritofirstus Curmugeonus.
Where’s my five bucks? 😠

20 hours since anyone said anything …I can hear a pin drop !😱 Everyone is behaving just a bit too well
😡 No complaints! Well,I’ll complain…Cruciferi’s Lard and shortening thread has made me gain weight 😠
Seriously though,I seem to eat barely anything at present and gain some weight…I even put one of those exercise balls in the lounge to sit on while on my iPad to try and feel motivated 😅

I don’t know about you guys but I was sleeping. I also did some procrastinating.
