Thank God for the Bible. And thank God for the truth.
Okay,

So which book that we have today is the most trustworthy to discern spiritual truth, the Book of Mormon or the Holy Bible (KJV)?

Okay,

So who has true apostolic sucession, the Catholic Church or the Mormon Church through modern day prophets?

Thank God for the Bible. And thank God for the truth.
Does this describe you?

2ndAdam:
Z is a grounded Mormon and I believe also an ex-Mormon missionary who knows exactly what he is doing here on Catholic Answers. He has a clear Mormon agenda.
Found #141 in the thread “Do Catholics accept Mormons as brothers and sisters in Christ?” under Non-Catholic religions.

2ndAdam has muddied your name in another thread and I’d like you to give the chance to respond to it.

ZEE is a Mormon with a Mormon agenda.

If one is a mormon, then does he always have an agenda? Is an agenda exclusively reserved for Mormons?
I would hope we all would be sincere about our faiths; therefore we share the truth in love. I think Zee means well. He is trying to rescue us from the great apostasy. It’s a worthy cause if it was true. I grew up surfing with friends who went out as Mormon missionaries for two years. You have to admire the zeal of Mormon kids who are missionaries. However, the Mormon gospel is not the gospel taught by the Apostles.

Did I say I believed in the BOM or it was synonymous with the Gospels? I’d appreciate if you stopped assuming motives of another poster especially when he’s not online to defend himself.

Back to the thread…

Since Catholics don’t believe in TULIP, forensic justification, etc., why did you expect us to answer as such when you asked us to tell us the “true” gospel?

They are equal. Both are scripture, and part of the standard works of the Church.

The Mormon Church does.

2nd Adam, I still have not seen what you think John 6 is saying
That’s strange how we can read the same chapter and come up with a different conclusion. Okay try this, look for Calvinism in John chapters 1, 6, 10, and 17. You can play the Calvinist and get back to me. 🙂

That is his habit. Some posts are not worth replying to, and this is one of them.

I cannot play the Calvinist because I cannot comprehend the logical steps that Calvin takes to get to his theology. John 6, for example, is such a clear basis for the Real Presence that an Atheist co-worker argues for it as a dogma of any Christian Church (in other words, if you accept what Jesus said, you must accept that, too).

I am asking you to SHOW me what you see there. As the eunich said, how can I understand when I have not been taught?

zerinus DOES have a Mormon agenda. He feels that his faith is correct and he is here to defend it and to teach others about it. He has never made that a secret.

I would expect nothing less from anyone who is sure of their religious background

I understand but I brought it to your attention for the sake of fairness.
The gates of Hell may have prevailed against the Church if you listen to Zee. Heck, according to Zee, Christians have been apostate for the last oh let’s say the last 1,900 years or so.

He says those things in order to hide his own agenda.
Okay, so what’s my agenda? Catholics and Protestants are already siblings in Christ? I already posted that Calvinism nor TULIP is the gospel.

sigh

Why did you expect Catholics to parrot Calvinism when you asked for the “true” (read: Calvinism) gospel when it is clear that Catholics don’t believe in Calvinist view of the gospel?
