This is correct, because corporations, no matter how big, consist of only individuals: shareholders, management, employees, customers. A corporation does not exist outside of the individuals who make it up.

Attempts to divide Americans in this way is despicable.
I’d believe it’s fair to say the buying power, the distribution of paychecks, the management, CEO’S comprise a far cry from the “individual” on the receiving end of the dole.

The only non-dichotomy to see here is one does not survive for the most part without the other. No laborers to tool and dye, no owner management, No owner management, no laborer…But that is where the dependency ends.

Now, if you’re referring to a Catholic school of thought regarding share-holding “ownership” better referred to as Distributism, I’d agree with you:

Distributism is an economic theory asserting that the world’s productive assets should be widely owned rather than concentrated.[1]

Developed in Europe in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, distributism was based upon the principles of Catholic social teaching, especially the teachings of Pope Leo XIII in his encyclical Rerum novarum (1891) and Pope Pius XI in Quadragesimo anno (1931).[2][3][4] It views both capitalism and socialism as equally flawed and exploitative, and it favors economic mechanisms such as cooperatives and member-owned mutual organizations as well as small businesses, and large-scale antitrust regulations.

As is such the case it is NOT the fabric of our country, therefore I would suggest your suggestion is flawed at best.

I like Ibsen. Didn’t he write ," OUR VILLAGE." ( Borrowing tongue)

If he did, you couldn’t prove it by me. I’ve no more use for Ibsen than Chesterton did.

pnewton.

Politifact? Really?

From your own politfact article . . .
The concern raised in the Daily Caller story was that the lack of language would create a loophole that abortion service providers could try to use in the future to get reimbursed with federal funds.

That’s certainly more hypothetical than the matter-of-fact headline, “Speaker Nancy Pelosi Caught Trying to Include Abortion Funding in Bill to Combat Coronavirus.”
Your article failed to even mention “Planned Parenthood”.

Don’t be fooled by Politi-FudgeFacts. The Democrats are doing what they do. Using a crisis to advance a socialist agenda because their ideas stink so bad they cannot usually stand on their own.

Here’s Bernie putting himself before the country (again) . . .

Here’s Biden’s ideas . . .

OK. Now that we’re done with Biden’s ideas, here’s Clyburn wanting this hijacked . . .

Fake News providing cover for Democrats . . .

Even Pierre complaining about Democrats . . . .

Pelosi wants decisions made based on people’s skin-color.

Democrat Green new Deal “goodies” at taxpayer expense instead of getting it done.

Democrats wanting Democrats in perpetuity here. Just like they essentially made California a one-party state.

Puts potential foreign Democrat voters, over Americans.

I don’t think the president is running his business at this time. He has two sons and one daughter who are doing so.
They aren’t in a blind trust, are they? Other presidents (and vice presidents) used this option. Not Trump.

Okay, so none of them are individuals?
The only non-dichotomy to see here is one does not survive for the most part without the other. No laborers to tool and dye, no owner management, No owner management, no laborer…But that is where the dependency ends.
And they are all each individuals.

No Jon, they are not all the same.

Those items will pass.
Let’s have transparency, eliminate all of the progressive pork and power grabbing, and get on with the business of helping the American people and businesses.
Some aspects of “helping the American people and businesses” will inevitably be called pork by other some among “American people and businesses”. The best we can do is be open and debate what is earmarked for whom.

The half trillion to be doled out in secret is sufficient cause for voting against the bill and going back to the drawing board.
