BTW this morning on the Sunday shows, some high powered aid from the White House refusing to answer Chris Wallace’s questions about where was Obama during the attack and what did he do/say in response. After a tap dance that would have put Charlie Chaplin to shame he finally said “It’s irrelevant where the President was…”

Well, “where he was” when the attack happened is irrelevant. His response and actions subsequent to the attack are what matter.
Yes I think that was the point. Pfeiffer focused on the trivial “I don’t know which room Obama was in…” as if that were the deciding factor. Wallace was trying to determine if he were in the Situation Room waiting for a photo op as with the takedown of Osama. That Benghazi ended badly of course would be a negative for the campaign. Thus the apparent distancing of Obama from “the scene of the crime” and thereby deflecting any blame. It’s all about spin with this group.
There were multiple sources saying an Al Qaeda linked group was responsible for the attack in Benghazi days before Susan Rice went on five Sunday television shows.
Lisa, you DO realize that any Republican President would have been removed from office by now. The waving criminal at the helicopter would be the front page photo in every paper in the world. THIS inveterate Chicago thug and punk “President”, Obama, would remain in office even if he were filmed burning an American flag. I believe that in their heart of hearts, everyone with a smidgeon of intelligence knows now that this guy is no good. This is really true, Nixon by the liberal media at least has been portrayed often in a vile way and those who helped him, Ehrlichman, Halderman, all of those guys and in comparison, Watergate would be a sort of cake walk compared to this.
Rob I agree. Heck it wouldn’t have taken this much to have a Republican frog marched out of the White House in hand cuffs. My opposition to impeachment…at this point and admittedly without knowing all of the details is based on practicality. At this point even the Dems are squirming and trying to distance themselves. If we attack their guy, they will rally round the flag and obstruct further investigation.
RobRob, I think it was Krauthammer or maybe George Will. I don’t in any way mean stop pushing forward on the investigations but premature calls for impeachment might derail the process. If the howls sound deranged, even if justified, we lose the opportunity to be taken seriously. Sure keep the “I” word out there as a veiled threat but let’s not start proceedings. If you were alive at the time, it was about 18months between Watergate becoming a scandal and the impeachment of Nixon. I think it was a Democrat who said this. I believe that if the GOP does not pound away incessantly about the corruprtion of this evil regime, they will only become emboldened. WE must wear people down by asking questions and telling the truth. There are far too amny clueless voters who NEED to be clued in immediately, or our nation will perish. People must stop voting for Marxist thugs like the Obamas of the world.
Yeah I heard parts of the speech driving into work and later some sections on another radio program. He’s still channeling Selma in the 60s. It makes me crazy because he’ll put in a positive nugget; be a good husband and father blah blah blah, then add some nasty “hatin’ de man” comment…geez!
