If you were actually waiting, you follow subsequent hearings more closely and wait for the results instead of railing against said hearings in an effort to clear up an obviously inconsistent and murky situation.
As opposed to what? Declaring the President of the United States and Hillary Clinton to be liars before these hearings ever began? Hm, wait for the results indeed.

Do you have any evidence at all that Hillary Clinton or President Obama ordered the talking points to be rewritten? In order to prove that someone lied you must prove that they knew what they were saying was not true. Still waiting.
No the lie is in passing on information they knew to be false. It is quite clear they knew that the attack was Islamist with links to Al Qaeda. Yet for weeks afterward, both claimed that the attacks were the result of a spontaneous demonstration that got out of hand.

When cornered with these facts Hillary made the famous “what difference does it make” speech.

We can continue to argue about the credibility of the evidence that Hillary knew about the requests for security upgrades. There is much evidence she did know. But putting that aside, since the specific request to change the talking points came from Victoria Nuland, her spokesperson for State, we might conclude Mrs Clinton was in on this as well. Regardless of whether Mrs Clinton ordered the changes, she knew about them and knew the statements she, Susan Rice and President Obama made on several occasions were false.

That is lying

Where is your proof that President Obama and Hillary Clinton knew the information to be false before they spoke or passed it to Susan Rice knowing it was false? Where is your proof that either of them even ordered this information to be provided to Susan Rice? All you have is an intelligence assessment that was altered before either of them ever laid eyes on it. You have MANY more dots to connect before you can declare them to be liars.

I’m fairly certain it’s this evidence that has been going around on the news for the past few days. Seems to me like you just don’t want to look at it.

I didn’t say Obama or Clinton passed on the information to Susan Rice. They may have but that was not the point. THEY gave the very same story, “It was the video” for weeks.

You are very cagey EN but you can’t fool me. Hair splitting along with strawman construction. I guess that’s called multi-tasking.

And you still haven’t presented evidence that they knew that to be false when they said it. Not Joe Nobody in the State Department or Jane Doe hunched over a desk somewhere in the White House, but Obama and Hillary. If you’re going to accuse the President and Hillary of lying then you have to prove that they knew it to be false not some random person in State.

You see Lisa-
Secostates and UN Reps are allowed to say whatever they want. Jay Carney too. No need for approval from higher ups. And higher ups can say whatever they want too. No need for verifying the facts before going to the public or before the UN. You can just say whatever you want.

It as a video, no, it was fog of war, uh…WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE???

Oh the evidence has been repeated several times and from numerous posters with links to the original sources. My granny used to say you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.

She also said don’t beat dead horses.

I welcome you to post the passages of those alleged sources which prove that Hillary Clinton and President Obama knew what they were saying wasn’t true.

Read the thread. Read the links.

You expect us to repost over and over again?

And isn’t the maker of the video still in jail? What ever happened to him? It’s obvious that the White House used him as the whipping boy for this to deflect blame away from themselves. Prior to the Obama admin, I would have only expected this from a communist country like North Korea or China.

I expect the assertions you are making to be backed up with facts and sources. No one has provided any source proving that President Obama and Hillary Clinton knew what they were saying wasn’t true.

Fixed:

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The filmmaker behind an anti-Islam YouTube video that was initially blamed for sparking deadly protests in the Muslim world admitted today violating his probation and was sentenced to a year in federal prison.
Mark Basseley Youssef, 55, who previously used the name Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, admitted four allegations of using false identities, including having a California driver’s license with a fake name. In exchange for his admission, prosecutors dropped four other allegations.
He had faced a possible sentence of two years behind bars for the eight probation violations.
Youssef pleaded no contest in 2010 to bank fraud charges for using phony Social Security numbers to open bank and credit card accounts, according to court documents. He was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison and ordered not to use computers or the Internet for five years without prior authorization.
He was also prohibited from using fictitious names during his supervised release.

True: Romney was responsible for all of this.

Speaking of hit jobs, let’s not forget this one as well:

Obama team: Romney committed a felony or lied to voters
Mitt Romney either lied in federal filings that show he worked at Bain Capital through 2002 and could be guilty of a felony, or has lied to the American people in saying he left the company in 1999, the Obama campaign is arguing in light of news reports on the firm’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
“This is serious business,” said Bob Bauer, the Obama campaign’s counsel, in a conference call for reporters coming after the Boston Globe published a story Thursday that calls into question the timeline of Romney’s involvement of the firm that the Republican candidate has been promulgating for years.
Oh, wait.

Besides a coverup in Benghazi being very conducive to winning the last election.

Democrats: ‘No Evidence of a Cover-Up’ in Benghazi Deaths
But Cummings, the AP, and others who are pushing this narrative seem to have missed the May 8 testimony of former deputy chief of mission in Libya, Gregory Hicks. It was he who said he was told not to speak to Congressional investigators one-on-one, claimed everyone knew the Benghazi attacks were acts of terror from the moment they began, and who said U.S. special forces in Tripoli were ready to go to Benghazi when news of the attacks reached them but were halted by a “stand down” order.
And while the question of who gave the stand down order ought to be predominant, Joint Chiefs’ Chairman Martin Dempsey has testified that no stand down order was given.
Moreover, White House spokesman Jay Carney has been on the defensive regarding the Benghazi talking points since Wednesday’s hearing. Whereas the CIA allegedly removed references to Al Qaeda from those talking points, Carney says the edits were “stylistic not substantive.”
It just seems a bit early to declare there’s “no evidence” of a cover-up.
WATCH: The GOP Benghazi attack ad nixed by Mitt Romney
The Republican National Committee was prepared in the waning days of the 2012 election to release an ad blaming President Obama for not preventing the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead.
ABC News first obtained the ad, which the RNC made last fall but then never released.
The spot opens with the intro to Hillary Clinton’s infamous “3 a.m. phone call” ad from the contentious 2008 Democratic primary. The ad asked which candidate would be best suited to handle a late-night national security crisis. From there, the RNC ad cuts to footage of the burning U.S. consulate and the sounds of gunfire, overlaid with the message: "The Call Came on September 11, 2012.

I expect the assertions you are making to be backed up with facts and sources. No one has provided any source proving that President Obama and Hillary Clinton knew what they were saying wasn’t true.
We’ve led you to water, you won’t drink.

I’ve been on this forum long enough to identify the Tom Sawyer approach. When someone doesn’t want to acknowledge a point made they ask the poster to do the research and spoon feed them. IOW we do the work. Sorry won’t bite but enjoy your bliss.
