What about women with hormonal hair problems, some of them are capable of growing… semi beards…
Do you think they should grow them also since they can??

Pharmaceutical science has indeed proven that urine has huge medicinal properties and indeed Premarin (pregnant mare’s urine) is one of the most widely used drugs around.

And so, if consuming pregnant mare’s urine and other such medicinal and cosmetic products derived from animal urine is acceptable in the West, then why is camel urine considered so repugnant?
I haven’t read the whole thread, but had to stop here and reply to this post, as it is so ridiculous.

The Koran says “drink”, hamba2han is now using the word “consume”.

Taking a tablet, or applying a cream, which has a marginal amount of mare’s urine in it, is not the same as grabbing a glass of camel’s urine and drinking it through the mouth, where tastebuds would allow us to taste how repugnant an idea it is.

There are many things we “consume” into our body for medical purposes that would be repulsive if made to be “drunk”.

hamba2han, do you drink camel’s urine like you are instructed to do?

Well spotted
hamba2han, do you drink camel’s urine like you are instructed to do?
It’d be interesting if
a) he responds
and
b) he does drink it - given he’s offered no evidence about its benefits at all.

Not sure about Greek scripture but here is what Matthew 26:36-39 says:
The “New Testament” is also refered to as the “Greek Scriptures” because they came to us written in Greek as oppossed to most of the “old testament” or “hebrew Scriptures” coming to us in…well…hebrew…though some we received in greek.

At any rate…you take this ONE EXAMPLE of Jesus prostrating himself to pray and think we should do it all the time? Prostration, while not unheard of in Jewish Prayer, is NOT the norm…and we have many more examples of Jesus praying and NOT prostrating himself.

Hey, if you want to do so everytime you pray…more power to you…but don’t try to insinuate Christians pray wrongly because of one passage out of the bible.

Indeed, and (without wanting to sound flippant) Jesus one time was crucified. Does hamba2han think we must all be physically crucified too?

do we want to hear the answer???
as usual for ham, he takes one idea and extends it to absurdities…

Lord we pray for ham that he may truly see your face:gopray2:
we forgive his offences against your Holy Name and your Church - he has been blinded by the evil of Islam
we know the Devil disguises himself as an angel of light
let goodness triumph over evil Lord Jesus:signofcross:

We also tend to have pews or chairs in our worship spaces, which limits the options. You can’t do this in a crowded place.
Why must churches and other worship places have pews and chairs then?

Did the early churches in Christian history “limit the options” in worshiping God by putting in pews and chairs?

It is pretty obvious to me that the Church itself has made a purposeful choice of not encouraging the faithful to prostrate to the Lord by allowing pews and chairs to be put in worship places… Why is this?
Nobody chooses not to, it’s just that kneeling has always been the holiest way. The laying down on the ground is something special reserved for priests when being ordained. In private, God accepts this position for prayer, and in public, I’m sure it would create a distraction. I truly respect your hunger and thirst for holiness. Jesus promises it will be filled.
:blessyou:
Is is stated in the Bible that praying while kneeling is the “holiest way” or that prostrating is specially reserved for priests when being ordained??

If not, then why has kneeling become the preferred method of prayer for Christians?

The Salat was indeed taught to the early Jews but over the centuries have been forgotten by most Jews and Christians as explained in this article:.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was commanded to follow the religion of Abraham. Had the religion of Abraham not known to him, we would not expect God to command him to follow it:
Code:
**"Then we inspired you (O Muhammad) to follow the religion of Abraham, monotheism; never was he an idol-worshiper."** [16:123]

**"These are some of the prophets whom God blessed. They were chosen from among the descendants of Adam, and the descendants of those whom We carried with Noah, and the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom We guided and selected. When the revelations of the Most Gracious are recited to them, they fall prostrate, weeping."** [19:58]

**"After them, He substituted generations who lost the Contact Prayers (Salat), and pursued their lusts. They will suffer the consequences."** [19:59]
Qur’an confirms that Salat was lost after some generations for the People of the Book (i.e., Jews and Christians). Losing it involved changing it in every aspect. The Salat as practiced today by most of the Jews and Christians is different than what was given to their prophets. Very few Jews and Christians have maintained the inherited Salat.

In a book entitled, “To Pray as a Jew”, a lengthy explanation is given of the Prayers as done by the ancient Jews and few of the contemporary Jews. In this book the author put diagrams showing the movement and positions during the prayer and one quickly realizes the similarity of the prayers of the Jews then and the Salat as practiced by the Muslims.

In his comment about these positions the author wrote : “In most contemporary congregations very few people keep to the tradition of falling prostrate. Sometimes it is only the Prayer leader and the rabbi who does so. In more traditional congregations, however, some worshipers, men and women, will join the Prayer Leader and rabbi in the act of prostrating themselves. In Israeli synagogues, the practice is more widespread than in synagogues elsewhere. Since this is a position that we are unaccustomed to, one who has never done this before might very well demur. But once accomplished, the experience provides such a spiritual uplift that one looks forward to repeating it. Those willing to try this ancient ritual form on the rare occasions that call for it might welcome the following diagrams of the correct procedure”

It is also interesting to learn from this book that the prayers of the Jews involve wash before the prayers, (like Wuduu or ablution for Muslims), and the call for Prayers (like the Azan for the Muslims).

Ham, basically what you need is to open your heart. You say you want to worship God truly, well read God’s word the Bible and you will see what you have to do. All this struggling trying to get away from the truth will do you no good - Jesus is calling you. The Devil has his hooks on you and doesn’t want to let you go, so you have to decide whether to face the truth and really do what Jesus wants, or keep on turning your face away from heaven towards hell.

Right - why would that be so strange when Mohammed copied the customs of the Jews? they certainly didn’t copy Muslims did they? Think about it for a minute ham!

It has been noted on mnay occasions that things you say are “pretty obvious” are only obvious to you. Why do you think that is? Why do you only respond to certain points and avoid others? The answer that is “pretty obvious”.
Saying something is “pretty obvious” is a tactic to say I can’t prove something so I will state it is obvious so it will seem like saying the Emperor has no clothes to disagree with me. Well I disagree with you ham. Will you answer me? Probably not.

Where is it stated in the Bible that pointing one’s backside in the air is the preferred method of prayer? Do you understand the role of tradition? You must, since there are many practices of Muslims that do not appear in their “scriptures”.
Please also do us the courtesy of not misquoting others. This must be intentional and is an example of your deceitful methods.

Come to the light ham - turn away from the evil one and come to God’s mercy.

lightofeyes - you have come to a Christian forum, where you can find out about our Lord and Saviour. find out how to truly give Jesus the respect he is due
this is not by wearing a beard, but by a true change of heart
this actually involves a lot more profound change, and will give you the peace only Jesus can give
Jesus is love, not striving or jihad
Come to the light, lightofeyes, the light of the soul Jesus:heaven:

Did Jesus ?

Did Jesus Peace be upon him had beard or not?

If Jesus had beard and he showed people how to live life then why do christians keep shaving their beards?

Peace…
This Messianic Prophecy from Isaiah hints at Jesus having a beard:

Isa 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

very bad science
all sorts of xenobiotics and hormones are in urine and can be extracted
to say that drinking urine is beneficial because of this is clearly wrong and unscientific
I repeat urine does not have medicinal properties! you quote Muslim propaganda sources and time after time we have shown how they do not present good science, so any such sites will be treated as a collection of lies and half-truths

How does a thread gather this many responses in such a short time, when the OP was clearly a troll?

The Bible NEVER commands anyone, Jewish or Christian, to prostrate themselves in prayer - never in the Old or New Testaments. Neither does it say anything that could in any way imply that ANY one posture is holier than another for prayer.
