The whole planet is God’s domain and Islam is for all of humanity and so, it does not matter where the creations are located because they need to worship their Creator according to how He Himself wants them to worship Him.

What this means is that no man-made religions or rituals of worship are acceptable to Him except that which He has commanded.

If you created something, would you have it any other way?
God is smart enough to know what’s in our hearts and thoughts, whether in our hearts and thoughts we are truly humbling ourselves in front of him. That has nothing to do with whether a person is prostrating themselves or not. You can have a proud heart when you pray in spite of all the prostrations in the world, and your prayer will still be unacceptable to God. And you can have a humble and submissive heart, as many of the Prophets did, who as far as we know never prostrated themselves once. And their prayers were heard by him.

**What this means is that no man-made religions **or rituals of worship are acceptable to Him except that which He has commanded.
And all the more reason not to follow a man made religion like Islam, founded by a man, unlike Christianity, founded by God made man, founded by the Divine.
Anyway why does it bother you, yous only believe that Jesus was a prophet.
If you created something, would you have it any other way?
I’m not God so I can’t answer, and why are you telling other religions how to worship, do we tell Muslims how to pray ?

We don’t define a type of prayer by the posture one adopts when praying it. When Jesus fell on his face he said ‘Father, if possible take this cup of suffering away from me’ - that was supplication prayer, as well as salat!

When David danced in front of the Ark of the Covenant, or sang the Psalms, or the Israelites danced and sang after they crossed the Red Sea, that was thanksgiving, adoration, worship, and submission as well - the same spirit as what you call salat prayer. But they didn’t prostrate themselves to do it!

The truth is ALL prayer is, or should be, a mix of different types - supplication, worship, thanksgiving, submission to God - all mixed into one. We don’t, and can’t, make false distinctions between these different types of prayers.

And we certainly don’t class them based on whether or not you are on your face while praying! For us kneeling, which we all do at various times in prayer, is a gesture of profound submission. Going on your face isn’t better or more submissive. It’s not our usual custom to go flat on our face for anybody, nor was it usual for Jews, to go flat on their faces either.
I forgot to mention that Muslims do indeed make supplications as well during the salat.

And you still have not answered the question:

Why do you choose not to prostrate to your Creator when you pray to Him?

If Jesus (pbuh) had no qualms at all about prostrating to the Lord in public, why should present-day Christians have any such qualms themselves?

The whole planet is God’s domain and Islam is for all of humanity and so…
In what manner do you say Islam is for all humanity?
What this means is that no man-made religions or rituals of worship are acceptable to Him except that which He has commanded.
The command must be verified. The personal character of Islams founder; who made the new command known to you, has not shown to be worthy of such trust much less veneration.
If you created something, would you have it any other way?
Not if I was given a false description of God like Muslims were given.

He gave us dominion over everything He created. The way of things now is the result of doing things our way. He said it to Adam in Gn 1:28, and Noah in Gn 9:2

I have to go now… hope to be back in a few hours, God-willing.

No, I did not because when Jesus (pbuh) stood to make the prayer, it was as a doa or supplication but when he fell on his face to pray, it was in the form of the salat.

Like I mentioned, there are two different types of prayer that the Prophets (pbut) made and which are acceptable to their Creator.

By choosing not to prostrate themselves to their Creator, Christians are performing only one type of prayer i.e. the supplication prayer.

The question Christians need to honestly ask themselves is:

Why do you choose not to prostrate to the Lord?
I personally know almost nobody who has NOT prostrated himself in prayer – privately, in intimate converse with the Lord, in humility before the abyss of his mercy. We just don’t use this posture frequently in our public worship, not least, I am sure, because so many people are unable to do it without assistance, if at all. We also tend to have pews or chairs in our worship spaces, which limits the options. You can’t do this in a crowded place.

Within the past few months, I have lain flat-out on the floor in front of the tabernacle of my parish Church in deep supplication. It’s not all that rare. It is a personal prayer posture, not a posture we use in public worship, which is directed towards praise more than towards personal supplication.

Is your familiarity with the English language strong enough to grasp the differences here? I mean no insult. Your English seems to be a little weak, and I would not want to mislead you by using language that is difficult for you.

Jesus said:

5"When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

6"But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

7"And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.

8"So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

It is not a qualm. He most assuredly is worthy of such honor and praise, but He has not demanded it for the very reasons stated above.

Hey!

Haven’t you looked at the pictures? Christians DO prostrate. Now you have a problem about not “prostrating regularly?”

Answer our responses first.

And no we don’t prostrate regularly. So what? We are confident to stand and sit and kneel and bow in the presence of God who is OUR Friend and FATHER!

Why do you choose not to prostrate to your Creator when you pray to Him?
Nobody chooses not to, it’s just that kneeling has always been
the holiest way. The laying down on the ground is something
special reserved for priests when being ordained. In private,
God accepts this position for prayer, and in public, I’m sure it
would create a distraction. I truly respect your hunger and thirst
for holiness. Jesus promises it will be filled.

Maybe it is just me,but doesn’t this PBUH stuff seem a little disingenuous ?

Anyone ever heard of an ear of wheat ?
Yes, that’s what the grain part of the wheat stalk is called - the ear.

From Wikipedia:
The four wild species of wheat, along with the domesticated varieties einkorn,[15] emmer[16] and spelt,[17] have hulls (in German, Spelzweizen). This more primitive morphology consists of toughened glumes that tightly enclose the grains, and (in domesticated wheats) a semi-brittle rachis that breaks easily on threshing. The result is that when threshed, the wheat ear breaks up into spikelets. To obtain the grain, further processing, such as milling or pounding, is needed to remove the hulls or husks. In contrast, in free-threshing (or naked) forms such as durum wheat and common wheat, the glumes are fragile and the rachis tough. On threshing, the chaff breaks up, releasing the grains. Hulled wheats are often stored as spikelets because the toughened glumes give good protection against pests of stored grain.

Why don’t Mohammedans actually read the Bible and worship God in spirit and in truth instead of following the empty words of a deceiver? The world is full of such tricky questions ham.
Ah, but then, you see, they would have to confess to being sinners in need of the Saviour!!
Which would get in the way of **their **pride…

Hmm…:hmmm: This reminds me of “the woman at the well”.
She said, “Sir, I see you are a prophet. Our ancestors worshipped on this mountain, but you people claim that
Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship God.”
The Jesus said, “Believe me woman, an hour is coming when you will worship neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem…
An hour is coming, and is already here, when authentic
worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth.”

And I say to you that the hour is already here when
authentic worshippers worship with and without beards.
They worship sitting and standing and kneeling and bowing.
They treat the least person as they would treat Jesus
Himself, they worship in Spirit and in Truth

Many do, but the posture during worship may vary from culture to culture. I believe the Eastern Christian Churches have more prostrations than the West. Many Catholics, East and West, employ prostration in their private prayer. Either way, it is not a necessary gauge of one’s devotion to God. What counts is the interior disposition, especially having a heart that is humble before God and man. Speaking of humility:

I(ndeed, being prostrate is different from having one’s rear pointing skywards

Actually, urine is big business and in fact, more women take urine into their bodies each day than any other medicine in the world as can be read in this article.
And millions of Chinese think tiger parts are good. So, by that reason it must be!😉

Please also note that your own site doesn’t mention camel urine at all. It’s talking about people’s own urine.

Pharmaceen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premarinutical science has indeed proven that urine has huge medicinal properties and indeed Premarin (pregnant mare’s urine) is one of the most widely used drugs around.
That’s a half truth. Premarin comes from a component of mare’s urine. It’s not ‘mare’s urine’ People aren’t drinking bottles of mare’s urine to get the component part.
And so, if consuming pregnant mare’s urine and other such medicinal and cosmetic products derived from animal urine is acceptable in the West, then why is camel urine considered so repugnant?
You would have to show that the same benefits are in the camel’s urine.

Your best argument is that a manufactuer has made a medical product from a chemical in horse’s urine, therefore camel urine is great.

There’s no connection. This is the second post you’ve shown evidence that doesn’t prove your point. 😊

“Corn” was actually what English-speakers used to, and sometimes still do in the UK, call “grain”. What we call “corn” was “Indian corn” or “maize” (the French word for corn/grain, IIRC), for the longest time. It just evolved into being called just plain “corn” for some reason, and what was “corn” is now called “grain” to differentiate between the two. If someone’s already answered this, sorry, I haven’t yet finished the thread.
I don’t follow, because what you call ‘corn’, we call ‘corn’.

hamba2han, did you intentionally skip this part that Lily mentioned?
of course he did!
ham always ignores questions he doesn’t want to answer, then just keeps on repeating his point regardless of whether or not it has been answered
Goebbels used this principle - the famous Nazi propagandist
we know Ham is not here for our good, he has admitted this explicitly
he is here to earn brownie points with the self-described “praised one”

Do you have a beard? Is it because Jesus had one? Is this the only example of Jesus’ that you follow?

The only mention of it in the Koran is…
Ta Ha
[20.94] He said: O son of my mother! seize me not by my beard nor by my head; surely I was afraid lest you should say: You have caused a division among the children of Israel and not waited for my word.

Certainly you won’t be relying on pictures of your prophet. It would be interesting to me if you’re not allowed to depict him, but you’re able to describe his physical features.
