The Sith couldn’t be Discordians because there can only be two Sith at once: an apprentice and a master. Not enough numbers for donations and to build a meaningful organization. Only good for secretly taking over the Senate and overthrowing the Old Republic and Jedi Council. The Sith would have no trouble eliminating the Calvinists or Muslims but Opus Dei, those guys are mean suckers! lol
You are referring to the Rule of Two created by Darth Bane. In recent times, there is now the One Sith where there are many Sith whom follow one leader to the end and the Lost Tribe of the Sith where it’s more cultural rather than doctrinal.

We have Sith coming out our ears! Darth Maul was my favorite. I’m not a tatoos guy but boy were the martial arts fantastic! Darth Plegius got backstabbed so he was a sucker, and Darth Tyrannus looked too much like Saruman the Wizard 😛

I never saw the “First” 3 Star Wars movies, and haven’t seen the others in years. My Star Wars knowledge is a bit foggy.

The Sith are much too disciplined to be Discordians, or virtually any stripe of pagan. My bet would be Calvinist, Wahabbist Muslim or Opus Dei.

I just committed three counts of blasphemy in Ireland. That’s $75,000 (pounds?) worth of fines. Ooops.
Actually there are some Pagan groups that put empasis on discipline. They’d be Recons almost certainly.

Missing ANY of the Star Wars or Lord of the Rings films is BLASPHEMY!! I don’t care what religion you are! lol

Well maybe there is hope for ya 😛 Tolkien was a RAGING Catholic. His books are laced with Catholic undertones and symbolism. His whole life was guided by his Catholic faith. The films actually capture a lot of the spirit of the books and their religious metaphors. Maybe we can get you back to the Catholic Church with LOTR subliminal messages! 😃
LOL! I have all three Lord of the Rings extended. I love them a lot! I saw them all in theaters.

If the church were to bring in more stout-hearted hobbits and a kindly, wise, homosexual wizard, I’d come back. Not necessarily to convert, but I’d certainly drop by Mass more often, and I’d throw a few bucks on the collection plate!🙂

Saruman does kind of look like John Calvin.

Hey Matt! Dude, it’s been a LOOOONG time since I saw you post here! How’ve you been?
And yes, Saruman is the spittin’ image of the Wizard of Isengard! 😛 Who would Zwingli be? Gimli? 😛

😃 Same! It’d be pretty interesting… Especially with those awesome fireworks!

Hey man! I’ve been good, and you?

Nah… Luther would be Gimli. Zwingli would be the soon to be defunct of his head Uruk-Hai in the Fellowship of the Ring.

I surprisingly like a lot of Christian works. As a kid one of my favorite book was The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I have all 7 Chronicles of Narnia books. I haven’t read all of them yet, but I think I will eventually, even if they are WAY below my grade level LOL. My mom read to me a lot as a kid. I can’t remember a lot of the books though. I’m sure I like other Christian authors. I just like books, if it’s good, then I like it. Vampires are actually me favorite. (No, NOT Twilight, The Vampire Diaries, or any of that lame stuff.)
