These words are reminiscient of a sheltered life of white privilege. Unfortunately Racism is alove and well in the US, and this was clearly demonstrated duirng the campaign. Even I was surprised at how much (enough to get such a racist person elected) and how strong it is. It never went away, it has just been underground.
Anyone who thinks our criminal justice system is not racist has not looked at the statistics, or been inside the walls.
I was immediately put off by a similar comment, though I did not hear about his one. It was when they were interviewing him and asked what he would do if his teenaged daughter got pregnant and he said something like “I don’t think she should be punished for it with a child”. I remember feeling horrifed that he thought a child was “punishment” for having sex. It was all over after that.

I can imagine an entertainer from a reality TV saying this, yet most people mistake his entertainment as deadpan seriousness. He knows his audience and they know that they find humor in what he says. He isn’t always serious, yet to some people he is always serious and they just seem to miss that, and miss the context of his life as an entertainer.
Look at what is on most of the TV, if you took the same standards for judging Trump and applied them to reality TV, you would find Trump is relatively better in many areas.

What did I not know what I was talking about? The Sean Spicer statement refers to his @POTUS account if you look at the context, and he is no longer there so we don’t know if the President agreed with him on that.
Official White House statements are also different than @RealDonaldTrump tweets. I don’t see how you can confuse the two, they are two different things.
