Do Catholics still support Trump

So, basically what is going on here is the following:
  1. Trump voters are trying to explain their position that they are blindly loyal to the personality but vote on principle. Anyone who has been on CAF long enough knows that the vast majority of Catholic republicans vote on the 5 non-nonnegotiable but are not awarded any kind of credit except from @pnewton
  2. As I suspected, the real problem in the United States isn’t Democrats like @sallybutler or liberals who follow their conscience. It is the excuse-makers who masquerade as independents (hello Angus King) and others who knowingly violate their consciences so they can throw accusations of sexual harassment and the race card around.
What they don’t realize is that in the end their leftist allies will knife them in the back at the soonest convenience.

The individuals will most likely be the #1 factor in the downfall of the West.

ARe you capable of anything other than gross generalities? Not all of Trump’s opponents are even on the Left.

If you recall, TRUMP DID NOT BACK -MOORE. That was Steve Bannon’s Guy.
In the end, both Trump and the GOP ended up endorsing Moore. As for the rest of your post, all I can say is you’ve been conned by Trump & the GOP. When the tax bill passed, Trump told his rich cronies he just made them a whole lot richer. The GOP is doing everything it can to return the U.S. to the gilded age of robber barons. Sounds great until you realize what a dystopia it was for the poor and marginalized. Trust me, the only things the working class will get from them is higher taxes and a shorter life span.

Did you condemn Anthony Weiner?

If so, please show us in your posting history as proof.

I wasn’t posting here when Weiner was living up to his name, but of course I condemn him. His a philandering sex predator. But this is the window on how you think, in a series of black and white propositions that one wins or loses. No nuance at all. An intelligent and yet fundamentally unsubtle mind.

So says the guy who generalizes based on race and gender.
Do you have any evidence that Trump understands economics? His views on free trade and monetary policy fly in the face of modern economics.
That would be his business success. Would you prefer a degree in Islamic Studies from a Canadian university where having politically correct gets you ahead?

Wouldn’t want to violate one of those made-up human rights now…

Anyone who knows anything about the Catholic Church should know that the 5 non-negotiables are not the real teaching of the Church.

The question is idiotic. I’m beginning to rethink one part of my last post.

I think that Pope Francis was prescient about this problem. Adhering to these principles, as though they are the source and summit of Catholic theology, this fraction of Catholicisms, aligned themselves with a candidate who is arguably not only amoral, but so narcissistic as to be an opponent of all morality and culture that opposes his vulgarity.

They have sown the wind of relativism, and will reap the whirlwind of epistemological chaos. and a seamless garment frayed into nothingness. What blindness!

It’s quite good. It’s obnoxious, but mostly not in a bad way, just think Next Generation except everyone got a little bit of smart aleck in them and they do try to tackle modern problems in the sci-fi genre like the most of the Star Treks did (well, at least the original, TNG and Deep Space 9; I gave up on Voyager and Enterprise pretty quick).

I have nothing to reconsider. Bigotry, racism, they are disgusting and vile, and no matter how white nationalists may try to couch their language, picking out people to hate based on race, color or creed (you note the last word there “creed”, it’s a pretty common phrase that covers all the bases of hatred), it is the ideology of the vile and the philosophy of the loser.

It is also an intrinsic evil according the Church and a key point in the Voter’s Guide for Catholics put out by the bishops.

A ton of republicans, including Senator Shelby, did not support Roy Moore. However, your candidate Doug Jones supports killing babies.

You do not have the upper moral hand.

No one has even filed 2018 taxes yet, but everyone is better off because of this especially the poor.

I’m glad the GOP has the foresight to help the poor where most other Christians do not.

The dystopia comes from big government. Every single poor place in the globe has a crony, big government which is what you seem to want just so you can feel good.
Trust me,
I don’t. I’ve stayed in a shack in the 3rd World because of the polices you promote.
the only things the working class will get from them is higher taxes and a shorter life span.
The lifespan in America decreased under Joe Biden and his running mate.

Traditional Star Trek Fan? I’m too but honestly they got to kick it up or everything look too dated for new generation of short attention span kids.

Meanwhile Mirror Universe uniforms… 😈

You post is the equivalent of a 5 year old saying, “I know you are, now how about me?”

A person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
I guess Trump didn’t get the memo given all the women and minorities he’s hired over the years.

BTW, notice how no one said he was racist, sexist or homophobic until he ran against a Democrat for political office. What. a. coincidence.
