You can’t say I love Christ and hate His Church (not my church); and you can’t say I love His Church and do not Love Christ. The two don’t go together.

So, I do love Christ and His Church - The Catholic church.

Maybe you can help me out with my suspicious mind a bit then underdog. Where are you from?
That Reformed character must have really messed up your head. You are extremely paranoid. Underdog is not from the Pacific Northwest. What did that Reformed character tell you?

It is not an act of love to imply that Muslims and Jews can be saved apart from faith in Christ.
I think you’re preaching to the choir on this one. But it’s also not love of God to deny His love before men. God loves all men, and therefore desires their ultimate good. One who repents of his sins and loves God above all things and who seeks His way, truth, and life over his own, seeks Christ, the Logos, (who is the way, truth, and life) and has divine faith (rather than faith in idols or himself). He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

The angel brings glad tidings to men of good will, not men of perfect knowledge.

Loving God and neighbor requires us to exhort all people to repentence and to place their faith in God, and to surrender their will to His, in the person of His Son. We make manifest the love of God so others may be persuaded to accept it. But, it is also wrong to deny that God’s love reaches those repentent and humble souls who are willing to receive it and reciprocate fully, but our love does not reach.

Do you guys at least agree that the church is made up of individuals who have been united to Jesus Christ and goes beyond the Roman Catholic Church?

Do you think people can love God apart from knowing Jesus Christ?

Underdog… I think I cannot communicate with you anymore, unless you are able to describe for me, in detail… What was the cause and reason for the Reformation, from a Catholic perspective?😃

Please define the word church. Are you speaking of only individuals who are members of the Roman Catholic Church?
The Church - Christ’s Church. Established 33 AD. With apostolic succession. Peter to Benedict. The Catholic Church.

I had a “history” with Reformed.

I’ll ask you straightout as it seems you want to use word play to avoid direct questions and you avoid the questions and points I’ve brought up on the topic of this thread.

Are you the CAF user who was known as Reformed and was banned from these forums in October?

Where are you from?

What line of work are you in?

Col 3:9 Lie not one to another: stripping yourselves of the old man with his deeds,
Col 3:10 And putting on the new, him who is renewed unto knowledge, according to the image of him that created him.

**Exo 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. **

I think you tend to foget how uniform the Christian Faith really is in reality. I may sound like others who know the truth. BTW… this is a picture of Underdog fighting Old Man Tradition in case you don’t know. Those who know God through Christ are everywhere!

Why do you portray Sacred Tradition as “old man tradition” or a villain to be fought and defended against by “underdog?”

Because it’s fun. I did not link Old Man Tradition with sacred tradition, but you did. I never posted that Old Man Tradition has anything to do with sacred tradition. Here is the battle of Underdog with Old Man Tradition. Underdog fights all arguments against Christ wherever it may be found.

You said “old man tradition.”

If you are not referring to Catholic Tradition then clarify what you’re trying to say.

You are on a Catholic forum, and making such veiled and rude insults about our beliefs is not “fun.”

I think you avoid questions and points to continue to poke at Catholicism. Does biblical teaching against speaking falsehoods prevent answering direct questions such as, are you the user who was known as Reformed on CAF and was banned in October? Yes or no would be an answer.

The Church is one. You cannot divide the body of Christ, which is His Church. Protestant denominations have different doctrines based on different truths. Truth cannot be multiple, it is one. Having similarities is not being one, of the same mind and judgment.

**Joh 10:16 And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd.

Eph 4:3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call,
Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.

Rom 16:17 I appeal to you, brethren, to take note of those who create dissensions and difficulties, in opposition to the doctrine which you have been taught; avoid them.

1Co 1:10 I appeal to you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no dissensions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.

Php 2:2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Rom 15:5 May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,
Rom 15:6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Joh 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; thy word is truth.
Joh 17:18 As thou didst send me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
Joh 17:19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be consecrated in truth.
Joh 17:20 "I do not pray for these only, but also for those who believe in me through their word,
Joh 17:21 that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Joh 17:22 The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,
Joh 17:23 I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them even as thou hast loved me.

1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body–Jews or Greeks, slaves or free–and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

Rom 12:4 For as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function,
Rom 12:5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call,

Col 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.

underdog,

You do not show the Spirit of someone united with Christ. Please strive, as others on this thread do, to maintain your charity. The Sacred Tradition of the Catholic faith is not a cartoon or a joke.

You can be like Underdog and fight all arguments against Christ along-side with me. Maybe I already asked that of you to refute Islam? Underdog does not side with any particular denomination, because I am only united to those who are in Christ.

So you consider Tradition to be an “argument against Christ?”
