Oh damn, that sucks, don’t care much about 2 but definitely unfortunate about 1 and 3. Hate it when they jump around the timeline all the time and lol at point 2 when one only see’s two enemy planes in the film.
I watched that part of the documentary. Do you believe the story? SlaughteringHere is a good documentary which offers a good explanation I think.

Maybe AH was just borderline schizophrenic?I watched that part of the documentary. Do you believe the story? Slaughtering
340,000 soldiers that were trapped like sitting ducks should have been a dream come true for Hitler. Did his conscience bother him? I guess the French surrendered
soon after. I read something the other day that the French are furious with the movie
because it leaves them out of the story. ** I don’t know if he wanted to teach the generals a lesson. What are your thoughts?**
What are your thoughts?Just saw it.

[SPOILERS]What are your thoughts?
Yes there could have been a little more detail.[SPOILERS]
I would have liked to see more thought given to how the citizen fleet was mobilized. That was shown only as a done deal, as some of the boats descended upon Dunkirk; but one expects an enormous effort was made to get them going in time.

Hitler thought the world should initially be divided up into four parts, the German Empire Hitler was in the process of building, North and South America already dominated by the United States, the worldwide British Empire, and the Japanese Empire which, like the German Empire, was also under construction.I watched that part of the documentary. Definitely generous from a military standpoint!Hitler thought the world should initially be divided up into four parts, the German Empire Hitler was in the process of building, North and South America already dominated by the United States, the worldwide British Empire, and the Japanese Empire which, like the German Empire, was also under construction.
Hitler thought that after beating the British so soundly, they would sue for peace. He thought that his obviously generous treatment (or at least generous from a military point of view) of the British troops would convince the British of his great respect for the British Empire.
Ultimately though, Germany would have to do battle with all three (including his ally Imperial Japan) of the other empires and eventually come to rule the world . . . or so he thought . . .
As far as seeing the movie goes, I gave up on all (or nearly all) magazines, newspapers, movies and television back in 2008, so no, I will not be seeing it.
I believe the story, the other theory, is that he wanted to make peace with Great Britain as another poster mentioned and I’ve heard before, but if that were the case, why did he bomb some of the ships?I watched that part of the documentary. Do you believe the story? Slaughtering

I used to think something like that, but IMO a showdown between Hitler and his Generals makes more sense, since if he wanted to sue for peace with Great Britain, I don’t know why he would have bombed some of the ships.Hitler thought that after beating the British so soundly, they would sue for peace. I have never heard the terms “sue for peace”.I used to think something like that, but IMO a showdown between Hitler and his Generals makes more sense, since if he wanted to sue for peace with Great Britain, I don’t know why he would have bombed some of the ships.

I have, just today actually. I liked it, though not as much as the professional reviews did. If they gave it a 5/5 I give a solid 4/5. If I’m being really critical a 3.5/5.So has anyone seen this yet?
