Alex, do you celebrate the Lord’s Supper?
You don’t have to specifically say the Catholic beliefs are false to convey your sentiments about them.Oh, you’ll also notice I never called your beliefs false. I said I was happy for you. Because I’m not rude.
Where did I say you are a liar?Dude, why did you keep calling me a liar? This is getting beyond a joke. I never called your beliefs false; I specifically said I was happy for you.
You admitted that translation also makes some Bibles false, which is all I said.
I also never said I didn’t believe in scripture. At this point I will return the favour and insinuate that you’re lying.
And yes; I left Catholicism. I opened with thatbecause God led me away from it

I don’t think that you are following Scriptures close enough… did Jesus say God accepted divorce because Moses came up of a decree for it or did Jesus say, "it was not so from the Beginning: one man, one woman, united by God?’ (paraphrased)Otherwise we accept that God sees incest as a valid marriage, if even only for a time. Which could also be forever if they don’t divorce.
Again you are confusing terms. But you said they could get divorced. You can’t get divorced without being married, friend.
And is preaching a source of the faith and revelations of Jesus today? The faith was preached before Scripture was penned… so Scripture is not the only source of the revelation of Jesus.
Yet, the practice, then as now, is that two people (more in some cultures) come together as a married union even and in spite of God.It’s even in the same passage where he talks about marriages being something in the eyes of God. It goes from Jesus explaining that God joins people together into the exception for when to split then apart.
