NBC/WSJ Poll: 57 Percent Oppose Trump’s Muslim Proposal
At least we’re doing better than this here at CAF.

Yes, probably – because most Americans allow their sense of morality to be dictated by circumstances.Until the next terrorist attack in Western Europe or the USA.
Then that number will crash
Jim
More like the human sense of survival.Yes, probably – because most Americans allow their sense of morality to be dictated by circumstances.
Trump has fear going for him and nothing else.
I haven’t met anyone who has this goal. Denying entrance to all Muslims, however, isn’t moral or logical. It’s a response to fear-mongering.More like the human sense of survival.
Knowingly keeping the door open for terrorist is not moral, nor logical
Jim
Agreed. He’s appealing to the lowest common denominator.Yes, probably – because most Americans allow their sense of morality to be dictated by circumstances.
Trump has fear going for him and nothing else.
Because that is how you balance the political equation.Agreed. He’s appealing to the lowest common denominator.
It may not be the goal, but its the reality of the policies currently in place, which Trump is calling to be revamped. FYI, I’m not a Trump supporter.I haven’t met anyone who has this goal. Denying entrance to all Muslims, however, isn’t moral or logical. It’s a response to fear-mongering.
So, not vetting Muslims is what one says. I’m sorry, I’ve seen pictures of the victims of San Bernadino and do not believe they deserved to be killed by terrorism. Different strokes as they say.I haven’t met anyone who has this goal. Denying entrance to all Muslims, however, isn’t moral or logical. It’s a response to fear-mongering.
It’s already been noted in this thread that the assertion you’re making is a straw man: no one here has argued against a vetting process. So, not vetting Muslims is what one says. I’m sorry, I’ve seen pictures of the victims of San Bernadino and do not believe they deserved to be killed by terrorism. Different strokes as they say.
I agree with Governor Christie, one can attack Trump but shouldn’t attack Trump’s supporters.Agreed. He’s appealing to the lowest common denominator.
I think both share some blame.I agree with Governor Christie, one can attack Trump but shouldn’t attack Trump’s supporters.
I find his supporters more frightening than Trump himself. The masses who can quickly and easily respond to his tactics reflect some of the worst elements of crowd behavior and individual responses to fear.I agree with Governor Christie, one can attack Trump but shouldn’t attack Trump’s supporters.
Between 1925 and 1964 we had extreme limits on immigration. One of the very reasons our nation declared its independence from the British Empire was because the colonists believed that the UK was restricting immigration and naturalization far too much (it’s in the Declaration: Google it). Why is that any different now?
And from a faith standpoint, why should we deny peaceful peoples’ rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Aren’t they God’s children, even if they don’t hold the same faith as us? This is an outrage.
:banghead:
Most likely, he’ll be the guest on Meet the Press and This Week With George Stephanopoulas this Sunday Morning.Trump is on the news around the clock, he tapped into the anti Obama growing sect apparently. He sticks to three points the PC point, immigration and radical islamic terrorism. All valid points
Frankly I would rather listen to his rhetoric than Obama and climate is terrorism and guns are the cause and the nonsensical Islamhobia MB rant. National security with radical Islamic terrorist immigration is the point which is obviously an issue.
